"Rosetta calls itself a Trattoria. First of all, every trattoria in Italy has a tablecloth not wooden or plastic tables. Rosetta charges fine dining prices for an establishment where most men turn up in shorts for dinner and where the cooking has very little resemblance to Italian cooking. A Restaurant which would not last a week in Italy. My husband ordered Fettuccini alla Bolognese. The sugo bore no resemblance to a true Bolognese sauce neither in texture , colour nor cooking. In fact, the much too wide fettuccini were floating in a pale reddish liquid sauce with no trace of extra virgin olive, long slow cooking or parmigiano reggiano. I, on the other hand, had the tagliolini with crab and chili. In Italy the dish would have had a liberal taste of peperoncino and sufficient salt. mine had neither. Then came the Parmigiana di Melanzane with huge thick slices of eggplant layered with thick unmelted slices of Fiore di Latte not Buffalo mozzarella covered with an insipid tomato sauce and practically no parmesan or basil. I have lived in Italy for years and know Italian cooking. In addition, I know how to cook it"

"One of the best culinary experiences we ever had! We arrived without reservation on a busy Saturday evening and they talked to us by squeezing us with a very short wait. My friend had the Butternut Squash Ravioli with chicken and he claims it was the best pasta he ever had! I am gluten-free and they went beyond and beyond to make sure that my meal was gluten-free. Our server was absolutely fabulous! We're so happy to stumble over this restaurant!"

"This was our second time at Donato because we wanted to give it a second shot. Our first experience was on Valentines day where they were having some issues due to it being a holiday and their system being down. That meant we ended up spending about 3 hours at Donato, mostly waiting and getting impatient for anything to come. This time around, we brought a friend to give it a second chance. It was a random Friday night with a reservation. Service was slow, the same as our first time around. It took around half an hour before they took our order. Took another hour for our food to come out, and we were handed a dessert menu before our last item was supposed to come. I say supposed to come because even though we ordered it, we were told that it was never put in and we wouldn 't be getting. I don 't understand why this place has such a high rating. The food is mediocre for how expensive it is, the service is slow, and it seems like the chefs are so backed up they can 't get food out at all in a timely manner. I really wanted to like this place considering it has such rave reviews on here, but it seems like the only people I see enjoying this spot are old white couples, so if you don 't look like you own multiple properties, maybe don 't come. This was our second and last time coming here."

"Wow was this place packed! It is huge inside and goes back quite fair, has a terrace for outdoor seats and a good size bar. Every place was taken. Good for her... not so good for us. We decided to sit outside and it took 20 minutes until someone came to the table. When they came by, my husband was in the rest room and the server asked me if I was ready to order. We didn't even have menus. We were brought with bread and water and when I asked the Lord what he would like to eat, he shook his head and went. At this point it began to rain sideways and was dipped. We ran inside and managed to get 2 seats at the end of the bar. There were 1 bartender who managed the whole place.... I don't even know how he did it, but respect him. He quickly made drinks and had no compromise with them. He was a superstar. We managed to get an app that Arancini or rice balls and they were hot and delicious. The bread and the dips were also. We've never seen another server again and we've wrapped up our night. The place smelled amazing and we were disappointed, not had the chance to eat more. I'm not sure if they were short staff and nobody communicated.... it was unorganized mess inside. We will probably give them another chance Becuase sees the menu and smells amazing. You slept for a reason!"

"My girlfriend and I stopped for an early dinner a couple months ago and were genuinely surprised how good the food was as well as how much fun Jena our waitress was. We've been back a couple more times since and were not disappointed by our meals. The food is always excellent, the price great, the service great regardless how busy the restaurant gets, serving size is amazing and Jena always remembers us!!! We will always request her to be our waitress every time we return which we will. Please share this with her and tell her Mark and Wendy do go to Mangias for her attentiveness, her efficiency and definitely her personality as much as we come to enjoy the amazing food!!! "This place is super cute but I wasn't like wowed with the food. I came by after a coffee date nearby and was pleasantly greeted and seated right away by a nice gentleman. They have a drink menu and a food menu. The drink menu was bigger than the food menu, which I found quite funny but didn't mind. We ordered a Tagliatelle Bolognese and a Bigoli Neri Alla Bottarga. Both were good but I've definitely had better. Though, I definitely wouldn't mind coming back! They give complimentary bread which is delicious with the butter! Overall, I definitely wouldn't mind coming back!"

"I was eating outside and it started to rain, but I ordered the side of shrimp and the lamb chops. This meal was very filling. I remember having to eat it slowly and people started coming and going. I tend to eat slow but the vegetables and meat really filled me up. I had the iced tea pictured and needed refills. I was trying to lose weight so I wanted some caffeine. Over all this meal was good. It was filling and satisfying. I will have to go back and record video. But very good and I do recommend"

"we ate here before we took part in a ny red bulls football game. there were 5 of us and we sat outside. it was quite hot and windy where we sat, although there were sunshades. the restaurant is located directly on a busy street, so they want to have a nice conversation in the inside. the service was very fast; we got almost no chance to take a swallow of our drinks and the pizza arrived. perhaps they tried to have a quick conversion before playtime."

"The food was just decadent, friendly staff. Just took a while for the waiters to check on us and get extra drinks as we needed refills. Also, their fountain drinks were extremely flat. No bubbles in the seltzer or sodas which left us with not so great cocktails. The neon sign, was super cute but no where to take a picture since diners sat underneath and ate. Overall, good experience, super cute date night spot and the food and portions were perfect. Some items were a little salty also so caution the waiter when ordering."
