"It is a quaint little place. Clean looking as far as I could tell. Parking is in the back and a bit of a problem. Probably the only negative thing I could say about it just off of Highland and south of Ft Union. An obvious landmark of a not quite life size train engine in front to identify. I enter in the back and was greeted by a cheerful young lady that quickly attended to my need of a menu. I made my choice. Which they had an extensive list of breakfast items ranging from omelettes to pancakes and a complete breakfast spread on one side while on the other side sandwich and lunch items that I perused less thoroughly. I was there for breakfast! The hostess told me how much I owed after making my selection. I paid and there was a row of chairs to sit and wait for my order. I didnt have to wait long before my order was called out and I was on my way. The food was excellent in my opinion as breakfast is my favorite meal to eat anytime. I would recommend this place to others. I will return to the Cottonwood Cafe."
