"found that this food is too expensive for quality. we went by and it was the aroma good, so we decided to cook the garnels, fried garnelen and crab friries to try. fried garnelen was not good. Crab-Fries went untouched for $15 was a disappointment. Tarter sauce wasn't good. the cook was a little better, but I'll never eat here again. west fair fish n chips in westport is the best seafood in the opposite."

"that was our first time at king crab. we actually went because we had a groupon. we found it amazing. the place was clean and organized. the food was excellent. we have been in Germany for 3 years and had no crabs at that time. the crab was tender and juicy! the price was very fair for the amount of food. my man and I split a meal and had a lot to eat. our server was incredible! he was very friendly and attentive. he had a very big table next to our table and another, but that didn't affect our service. he has often checked us and we could not have got a better service. we recommend them!"

"While on vacation, we were there based upon the recommendation from a hotel bellman (The Loutrel) for some of the best Low Country cuisine in Charleston. King Claw lived up to its reputation! Our only recommendation for improvement is that King Claw add salad to its menu."

"Awful experience. This place has fallen big time. Before changing the name to Saucy Crab this restaurant was called Juicy Crab and the food was good. The service was good as well. Unfortunately the restaurant has gone way down. Ordered the catfish basket and it was just terrible. Clearly not catfish. The fish was old and cheap. After notifying the waitress and staff of the bad fish, they only offered a “sorry you didn’t enjoy it” comment. I will never return to eat at this restaurant location again."

"I came here for Mother’s Day 5/14/23. The service could not have been worse. My brother coincidentally made a reservation as well, so I asked to sit with him to save space as they were definitely overbooked. Doing that was an ordeal as the waiter then didn’t want to do separate checks, which they did after getting the manager.Then we waited 2 and a half hours for dinner. There was no explanation other than “it’s busy”. After that horrible service, tip was AUTOMATICALLY included because it was a holiday. And when talking to the “owner” (because at that point, the manager couldn’t handle that EVERY customer in the building was upset), actually said “we put the tip on because otherwise, they might not get tipped today.” So I explained how illegal that was and the tip was removed.After all of that, my reservation was cancelled on OpenTable so that I couldn’t leave a review."

"overall the value and the service was good, but I don't think it's a place I would apply again because there was nothing special about it. the taste of the crabs or average, but the spicy was not very spicy. throughout the week I found the outside seats to be missing, and the interieur was very cold to the point of discomfort. the portions and sizes were filled, but they are on the Pricier side based on the amount they receive. our hostess/heat-service was very good and pleasant."

"Im a big foodie so Ive tried quite a few seafood boil spots and im so happy to say that this will be my go to now . They only thing I didnt really like was the Boiled Eggs (2) that I got they were hard and tested fake it was wei but other then that it was all amazing!"
