"Our son’s favorite restaurant. Salad bar is usually clean and tidy. This visit, there must’ve been a lot of patrons because several of the containers were nearly empty and the dressings were mixed together. The salad dressing area was pretty messy. Our food was good though."

"Our group ordered the Halibut Cocktail, Burrata, and Truffle Fries to share, and I chose the Pork Chop as my main dish. Everything was delicious and fresh. The Pork Chop was a thick cut, and even though I don't usually eat much pork, this dish was incredibly juicy. We also shared the Apricot Crumble and a scoop of seasonal ice cream for dessert, both of which were delightful. Our waitress was attentive and courteous. Overall, this is a well-established local restaurant with several other locations in the Bay Area. I would definitely consider returning to explore more of their menu."

"The waitress was rude and showed annoyance when asked about a particular menu. With mask on her face plus her accent I surely didn't understand her response. She raised her voice and became argumentative after I repeated my question. I was surprised of her reaction and the manner she speaks to me as a customer. I called her out for being so rude but it didn't bother her at all. She is a liability to the business."

"Although there was a slow start to be greeted by a server, proprietor Ms. Mixx took notice and immediately rectified the matter. After ordering, the food came out quickly and hot. The varied cuisine was delicious and wonderfully presented. Vegan and vegetarian options abound. Exceptional value with nice size portions to choose two plates without being full and priced very nicely. We will be regulars on our trips to Ithaca."

"We enjoyed such a wonderful meal at Fratello's that I can't wait to go back to enjoy more of their menu! I had eggplant rollitini and it just melted in my mouth a top perfectly cooked ziti with homemade sauce. Shrimp scampi and a traditional pasta dish were also a huge hit. Our server Kim was the best! Everyone from table bus person to the owner were extremely friendly. Thank you for a truly enjoyable and delicious meal!"

"We went for our daughters birthday on Sat of Sept We ordered the Pu Pu platter. A chicken dish, a porterhouse and a bacon wrapped fillet. The Pu Pu platter had assorted shrimp dishesmeat sticks and dumplings. One of the shrimp dishes appeared to be shrimp parm. It was a blob of tomato sauce with cheese on top. Unrecognizable just a blob of food that came out in one lump, not individual shrimp. The dumplings ware all I can say is slimy. Very strange. My porterhouse had absolutely no flavor, ho grill marks , no sear, nothing. It looked like it was take from frozen and put in an over. I also ordered a wild mushroom sauce, salty and gloppy. My daughters fillet was about the size of an egg and according to her tasteless also. I expect a restaurant that has the name of a steak in its name and server steak, to actually serve tasty food. Steer clear and don't waste your money. Oh and it wasn't cheap either. Really disappointing. Wont be back"

"Food was very good. Portions were nice size but they should be for the price. I wouldn't say expensive but it was not cheap. Service was ok, I dont know if its because we were with a group but service was slow and not greatly attentive. Never came back to ask if anyone wanted dessert. The tip is automatically incorporated which I've found leads to a less attentive server."

"Very disappointed. Chair had a whole in it. Drinks were awful and both food and drink took way too long to come and not great. We decided on appetizers and left. Ordered a glass of Sake, got a shot in terms of volume, and asked why not a glass as advertised for $14 dollars. She came back with the same drink just in a glass but not more liquid. Sent back and asked for glass of red wine which was old and clearly had been open for way too long. Two bathrooms, only one of which you could lock the door (which was bad as opened right in front of the bar). Just not great on any front."

"The food was okay but at this price point it the overall dining experience was disappointing. The ceaser salad was a plate of chopped romaine with Parmigiano cheese which they served to us without dressing. The waitress offered to remake it or bring us dressing. I would have expected the kitchen to correct it.Then we were served our steaks. My husband was served filet when he ordered Ribeye. Our options then were to wait 20 minutes for his steak. So he ate the filet disappointly because its not what he ordered and so we could eat our meal together. The food presentation was average at best. You would expect more at that price point than a piece of meat and two boiled potatoes on a plate with some sauce. We were offered to take a ribeye home but since we were traveling that was not a suitable option, so they offered us free desert, which turned out to be the best part of the meal. Don't think we will go back."

"My husband and I have celebrated our anniversary there the last 6 years. Needless to say we have ALWAYS had superb food and service no matter how we were dressed.... Sonny's establishment hires some of the finest cooks and servers and upon talking to our server last night she stated it was one of the most supportive, and caring establishments she's ever worked for. Scott and I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail and Beef Carpaccio SUPERB!! We then shared the Bacon Wrapped Filet, which was cooked to order and they didn't blink twice about us sharing a meal. When we first got there it was 5:30. Restaurant was totally empty and the staff was most accommodating. We ordered a flight of their Port Selection for desert and was not disappointed in the least. Once again, our server was quick in telling us about each glass and was truly thrilled in watching us savor each glass. By the end of the evening 2 hours later the restaurant was full (Scott and I like to watch how the staff interacts with customers), and the serving staff was interacting with each of their tables and the atmosphere was delightful. We highly suggest Sonny Lubicks and do not doubt you will have the meal of your life."

"service was friendly, efficient, but not rushed. hanger steak was tender and cooked for perfection. lachs also exceptionally well done. we share an appetizer eggplant rollatini, which was delicious and served on two plates. Live music in the bar area, but not overwhelming in the dining area."
