"The plates were dirty and likely not washed properly. The shake cups were marked with fingernail scratches; one even had the name "Bailey" carved into it, and another had something hanging off it. All the cups were sticky from the shake that had dripped down the sides.
While we were there, a manager had a loud and aggressive argument with a customer witnessing the chaotic scene. It felt uncomfortable, like being a child caught in parents' screaming match during dinner.
The overall cleanliness of the place was appalling: the floors were dirty, the trash cans were overflowing, most tables were unclean, and the restrooms were sticky and had an unpleasant odor. If I could give fewer stars, I would. I will never return to Steak and Shake in Peoria or anywhere else, and I strongly encourage others to stay away as well."
