"We stayed at the Rosen Centre for a meeting and didn't want brave I-Drive traffic and stayed there. I got the steak and it was okay. Much butter, a lot of salt and relatively thin. It was indeed Choice not Prime. Kinda like a steak you get in the grocery store (but not H-E-B [IYKYK] . The Alligator Bay Chowder was beautiful; I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as I only fried Alligator. Beautiful aroma in a tomato-chowder base. The wine card for a hotel restaurant is quite decent, although the two wines I really wanted were sold out. My dining room partner had the chicken she liked very much. I had the most important lime cake for dessert, and while the taste was great, Texturally it was more like a cheesecake and very heavy. Everglades Restaurant is good. Not great, but pretty good. It's really 3-1/2 stars, but, we'll, three is a strange number, so I rounded. If you are at the Rosen Centre Hotel, it is worth eating there. If you're not, I wouldn't leave."
