"When I tell you that I didn't anticipate to have this amazing lunch that caught me off guard I'm not exaggerating. It's been a while since I left a review on here but after this excellent lunch I felt compelled to share with the world. As usual I was working nearby and this is not an area l'm familiar with but Yelp always comes to the rescue. This joint came up in the top 3 and I'm glad I came here since I was undecided between that joint and a ramen place but right choices were made here. First thing that caught my eye on the pics was the fierro sandwich...flap meat cooked to perfection with all them juices oozing and dripping as I squeezed the sandwich, BLT and a fried egg, all without the peppers as a personal preference but it does come with peppers. This is hands down one of the best sandwiches l've had in town in a long time and though the pictures don't do it justice, it looked so delicious I didn't even take a picture so l'm bummed about that but this review is making up for it, I hope. I also tried the ensalada rusa(Russian salad) a very popular Spanish dish consisting of potatoes, peas and carrots in a mayo/mustard sauce, served cold and this one didn't disappoint not one bit. The service is also top notch and Mike and staff are the most welcoming and attentive out there. Mike went the extra mile and let me try one of the best empanadas I've had to date, the chorizo one, since asked him about those seeing so make customers ordering like crazy and also a complimentary shot of Cuban coffee. These actions and excellent service accompanied with amazing food is what sets a joint apart from the rest so needles to say, they have just gained another customer and will be coming back with the fam. Also, of you have a sweet tooth they serve Gelato and these homemade dessert jars that look to die for, wish o had room for some of that, next time no doubt."
