"I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Friday and was very happy to find exactly what I was looking for! I chose a delicious dark hefeweizen beer from Germany and a Camembert cheese starter. The starter was fantastic, consisting of lightly battered Camembert cheese served with lemon slices and berry jelly. While the menu didn't specify that the cheese was fried, it was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend it! For my main course, I had roasted lamb on the bone with bacon green beans and fried sliced potatoes. All of the dishes were excellent and came from the special offerings of the day. I had also considered the roasted duck special but went with the server's recommendation for the lamb. The meat was slightly overdone but still tasty. The service was a bit slower than I would have liked, especially since there was only one other table occupied at the same time. However, the server anticipated my needs effectively and I never had to wait long. The food was cooked and served at the right times, and the portion sizes were generous without being excessive."
