"Wow! This German restaurant in Highland NY delivers great food, beer and views. My visit was in early November, which was at the tail end of fall colors. The restaurant sits above a valley and the scenery was beautiful. Of course the German cuisine was excellent from pork or chicken schnitzel to a variety of sausages (brat, Weiss, kielbasa) They had 5-6 draft beer selections (german, of course) and excellent looking deserts. I didnt get the deserts as the servings were big and delicious, but I did grab a couple Cowboy cookies from the bakery section at the front door. Service was also very good. This is a cant miss if you find yourself in or around Highland NY."
