"We will be back! We were in the neighborhood and wanted to try something new. Carmino's is mostly reviewed for their pizza and pressure-cooked chicken. We both tried the chicken and were very pleased with the meals. To start, we ordered a tasty batch of deep fried mushrooms which came with a spicy dipping sauce. Now the main course, the chicken. It was superb! Crispy on the outside, hot and juicy inside. Both the white and dark meat were perfect. It came with JoJos and a choice of side. I ordered the coleslaw and it was fresh and crunchy, the way it should be. The place was empty as it seems to be a popular take-our or delivery place. The seating area was well-spaced and had plenty of seating for groups of any size. Next time we are in the area, I want to try one of their specialty pizzas, the menu had a very good selection of unusual combinations that all sounded interestingly good."

"Loved this place! From out of town and I felt like I fit in right off the bat! Kim was amazing! Very impressed! Friendly, helpful and attentive. Crowd was fun and engaging. Kim suggested the deal on the beer and the pizza. Both delicious! Pizza was outstanding! Especially for the price. Just loved the feel of this place! Wish it was in Texas! Can't wait to try the sandwiches! Homemade chips also! A total local gem!"

"Went there with my family around lunchtime. We walked in and was struck by this awful uncomfortable total silence even though several booths had people. Was seated quickly they didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink. We talked really quiet to not disturb the sound of silence, picked out our meals, waited, waited, and waited some more. About four or five other tables were seated. I never saw one worker bring out any food or take any orders from anyone. No one ever spoke to us after being seated. After 15-20 minutes, we just got up and left. I told my husband that I hoped there wasn't some crazy crime in progress. It was a really weird experience. The place was clean, the seating was nice, the place looked clean, the menu was appealing and priced well. Service and silence was awful."

"Ordered the fish and shrimp combo through the drive through tonight. When I got home the fish and shrimp were far from crispy almost soggy. I bit into the fish and it was hard and when I looked at it it was red and not cooked fully! Left me feeling sick and a horrible taste. I called and spoke to an employee who said you can come in tomorrow . No sorry, no anything. I 'll never be visiting this particular restaurant again. Bad service and bad food what more should I say."

"Compared to a few years ago, this location has vastly improved. The last few times I've visited, the interior appeared clean, and the staff was friendly. For fast seafood, this is my go to place. Fish is crispy and moist, green beans seem to be seasoned perfectly and the Mac n cheese is the right consistency."

"First and foremost, they have a B rating from the health department. There were a whopping TWO people running this entire store. The person at the register looked barely a day over 15.. As a general rule, I try not to go to a restaurant an hour before closing and prefer to go inside so I'm not burning up my gas. 1. It's rude to show up right before close and 2. The store is prepping to shut down. As such, you will get what is left on hand which is normally the bottom of the barrel. As a restaurant manager, it takes a couple of hours to shut down a store, even longer if you're working with a skeleton crew like this store was. I've ALWAYS loved Captain D's but this time the food was burned. This rarely happens but given this time of the year, I don't always have time to cook at home. All in all, the food was ok and we only came to this restaurant because the Horn lake one left us waiting at the menu in the drive through line for HALF AN HOUR not once but TWICE with no response. As we were driving off, we saw the one employee standing around chatting with someone inside... So this restaurant gets an extra star because the alternative has been as garbage as Horn Lake is. Absolutely would NOT recommend going to the Horn Lake Captain D's."

"they made my order wrong. I asked about country style, but got battery and when I told them the girl just said oh ok. I knew if I pushed it, they'd spit it, so I just ate the ones. we have a baked potato, then they said they were made of butter. I had to wait for them to make us sweet tea and they talked and played around. my deserted crab was in the apartment gooey. I won't go back one of them. this crew was not friendly at all. but they all have a few weeks of a new crowd, so I'll wait before I try again."

"This fairly new Captain D's fills a need for a fish restaurant on the west side of Chillicothe. Like most restaurants in the area right now, this store is suffering from a lack of staff. It would be wise to call ahead to make sure it's open before going out of your way to dine here. A sign on the door stated that they would be closing at 7 PM the day I visited. My meal was consistent with other trips to other Captain D's, which I rate just a notch below Long John Silver's. I'm disappointed that they don't have an app to earn rewards or get discounts. They frequently have coupons, which definitely help bring down their prices. The standout item of my meal was the hush puppies. They were some of the best I've ever had. They were crispy on the outside and soft and light on the inside with visible bits of soft onions throughout. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. I will not go out of my way to return here soon, but if you're craving fast food fish, this is not a bad choice."

"so i was strollin along and saw captain D’s, the name woke my little guy up so i went on in. I’m a big lobster guy mostly from sponge bob and I hate red things so the lobster needed to die. I got the lobster roll and walked out, while i was riding my bike I heard something from my bag. I open my bag to see a fish a live fish was in my bag. I was so upset but i couldn’t go back because my little legs where feeling like jelly. the fish jumped out the bag and ran away. "There is occasionally a visit to a restaurant that stands above the rest. I'm not sure if the management team was the Fort or if this store is just a well-oiled machine. From the minute I went to the reception area, was clean and welcoming. The man with the headset who would normally take care of the passage took my order because there was someone in front of me in the cash register. He did it fast and I paid with my credit card, my food was in the window before we finished the process. This means that the person listened to the line in the kitchen so that they can get a jump on the order. That was impressive. The food quickly arrived almost easily speed. The food was hot, fresh and exactly what I ordered. I picked up my food and went to the dining area and chose a stand. I made my drink and went to the toilet room to wash my hands. The restroom was spotless and clean. The dining room was spotless and clean. Something else I love to Captain D’s is that you can get your pickup and spices from a pump dispenser to a dish. I hate to tear open little packages from ketchup. You don't have to do this with Captain D. I enjoyed my meal and left. I recommend Captain D’s of Searcy. I don't eat fish every day, but if I do, it will be Captain D's seafood restaurant."
