"The staff is very unattentive. Service is hard to get these days but I am always disappointed when staff socializes more with each other than with customers. The phone rings and rings. Online ordering is easy. The cooks are always great and the presentation of the rolls is on point. The restaurant needs a makeover. Same tables, chairs, and wall hangings for years. The floor is dirty and tables are sticky. The food is fresh and that speaks volumes but no longer my favorite sushi restaurant in Gilroy."

"RESTROOM 5/5 SERVICE 5/5 FOOD 5/5 VALUE 5/5 Absolutely fabulous experience at MR. Teriyaki. It's a little hidden but there is a big sign leading you to one of the best Japanese restaurants in the Peninsula. The minute we walked in, I knew this was the definition of a truly special hole in the wall restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was superb. Prices were good. Tea was excellent. The restroom was extra clean. There was even Purel hand sanitizer at every table. There was a large TV playing the baseball game and in the background I could hear 80s r and b on a stereo system that had excellent bass. We support local family type restaurants and we will definitely be coming back"
