"This place is a great, generally solid option for Italian food that isn’t ****. Davide does a great job running the restaurant with literally a skeleton crew (they have 1 chef. ONE. . I always appreciate the food I get and the service I have received; the staff is focused on execution and not schmoozing their customers. I had one of the best meals I’ve ever had here. 6 courses of awesome. Great wine list, showing quite a bit of quality and variety for not a lot of money, Decor is great, soaring ceilings, low light, white table cloths. I knocked one star off because large group dining is a no-go here. This is DEFINITELY a great date spot, though, and their service and food really shines in a small group, sharing type environment. Also, they close pretty early."
