"when do we get a great Indian restaurant in fort lauderdale? the service was good, not great. more than half of the vegetables were frozen. I asked about chilies or hot chutney, on the side and they bought me jalapeños and siracha. sugar was added to any dish we ordered. it was all disappointing. all fish are tilapia that is not mentioned in the menu. not good."

"when we arrived, there was only another party in the restaurant, and the Indian music on the sound system was loud. but the waiter offered to turn off the music. we had first very good service, but then four other parties arrived, and it was hard to get the attention of the waiter because he treated all the tables of himself. at the end it worked out everything. the waiter was very nice and the food was delicious. we will definitely go back."

"3 Years and Counting. Since I moved to Buffalo three years ago, I have been going to Star of India in Kenmore. The family that runs it is SO nice, welcoming and kind. The food is outstanding, I've never had a bad meal. My suggestions are the chicken makhani, any of the saag, garlic naan is a great starter, and the lamb is AMAZING. Best Indian in all of Buffalo/NF hands down."

"I recently tried Indian cuisine for the first time and I was thrilled with my experience. The food was full of flavor, not overly spicy, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer I ordered and the presentation of the dishes was modern and impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back! "My wife and I ate here earlier today. She had chicken tikka masala and I had a mixed tandoori and another main of tandoori chicken. I also had a pint of Guinness and we also had a Diet Coke each.When you walk in, there’s a touch screen you order at: nobody greets/seats you. Then you take your seat. There was no real atmosphere and there was only one other couple in when we arrived. The toilets also left a lot to be desired.All that said, the food and service were both excellent. I couldn’t fault either, and that’s why we came: to eat. It’s absolutely no frills whatsoever but if you want some fantastic Indian food, I can highly recommend this place. We paid $80.27 which included the tip."

"I had ordered twice from this place and when I told them that I was vegan, they had adapted one of their contingents that comes with appendage. I would advise to state that they are vegan to avoid not vegan seasoning only for the case. they list any vegan option on their menu as well as gluten-free. you eat is good. "We decided to try this place inspite of mixed reviews online. We arrived a little early and were the only party in the restaurant for a while. So the staff were very attentive and I'd give the service good grades. The food isn't really worth writing about. We decided to create a meal of appetizers/small plates. The vegetable samosas lacked salt, but otherwise were okay. The aloo methi tikki didn't have any taste of methi but otherwise tasted good. The rest of the food was okay, but not memorable. There are better Indian places in town."

"Finally got around to trying the New Deshi Village restaurant in Eagleville and the food was pretty good! We ordered the lamb biryani, the meat chaat, and tandoori chicken and Malai chicken. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable, including catering prices. Service was little slow since they had a lot of catering orders that day. Overall, would recommend!"

"One of the best Indian food in the city. This industry serves authentic Indian cuisine. Order the vegetarian curry and Tandoori chicken. The chicken is so tender and juicy. The Naan was perfectly prepared and still warm when they serve. The choice of wine is not too bad. The service is pretty slow with no busy night. Many seats and pleasant night."
