"the food is delicious! full of flavor! I appreciate the modern service and the setting of the restaurant. Today my first time was here and we had a family brunch of 4 to 1 o'clock. the restaurant was not full and everything was perfect. large part is when they are looking for dessert after moxy’s frozen yogurt is just around the corner. this location has a large number of parking spaces and wheelchair accessible areas."

"We love Sansei! We took guess from the mainland. To be honest, the first impression is not good due to the overall appearance of the plaza. The concrete in front of all the businesses is filthy. We are looking forward to their new location. I hope the general maintenance is improved. If I had a business there- I would power wash my entrance."

"The worst owner and the service. Food is average but over priced. I've been there a few times and I am pretty sure the the owner is a racist. He asked us to pay with cash because the machine had broken but I saw when that he took a credit card from the table next to me and they were Caucasians. At the very first time I thought I'm overthinking or I'm too sensitive, but next time I had a very similar experience which is related to related discrimination. The Japanese owner say hi to only white. Even he is an Asian. This is so funny. Even some of my friends have similar experience. Their food is not bad, but not that great but the owners attitude was very unpleasant. There are a lot of good restaurants over there, so I recommend not to go there. It's not worth it."

"There are a few places we come back to when in Waikalaoa and Sansei is one of them. If you come for their happy hour the sushi is quite reasonable and even regular prices are what you would expect in a resort environment."

"Only one waitress. Nobody at front to greet us for about 7 mins. It was a special occasion and sparking wine we ordered was not available so we tried to order another and were told they didn't have any that were on the list. The wine menu was poor. Even if you keep a small wine list there are many good wines that retail for $10-$15 which would put you at bottle prices of $35- $50 so nothing too pricey. We usually do take out and will continue to but will probably never eat in again."
