"So this could have been a 5 Star Yelp review. But downgrading due to the lack of service on a Friday night. I blame management, and in this case, it could just be a family owned and run business. We only had to wait 10minutes to get a table so that was good. However, the hostess taking our order was so flustered as she was the only one that was taking orders with a packed house! There were two other boys that were either cleaning the tables and seating people but not sure if they were trained to take orders. We had two friends join us spur of the moment that evening so we had a great time. No rush by the restaurant to move on. We stayed there for over 1.5hours. Not really because we wanted to, but it seemed it took a very long time to make the sushi rolls. And we had to keep tracking down our hostess to get some of the items that we ordered. So now for the good stuff. The taste of almost every roll was phenomenal. The only one I didn't like was the Slow Burn Roll, which had an interesting texture to it and no burn to it. But the other rolls and the Sashimi platter were excellent. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was to die for! One of the few places that I have been to that actually serve this. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the rolls on the menu. Total bill for 4 people ended up around $170 including 2 beers and hot tea. We were not even asked if we wanted dessert nor did we want to stay any longer. But it was great to watch the Warriors game that was on while we ate. A very cozy restaurant and the locals know this has great food. I hope the owners take note of this and at least get someone else who can wait tables."

"This was my 2nd time coming to this restaurant and it 's very much safe to say, that this was my LAST!!!!!I very much encourage everyone considering to come to this restaurant to go across the street for better food and customer service. We arrived to the restaurant on a Saturday at 5pm (opening with a reservation for a party of 8. When we got inside, there was only one other small family dining in. The lady (who is extremely rude, has no manners and poor customer service showed us our reserved table which included a booth/chairs. Since our party has 2 pregnant women and a small baby, we asked the lady if it would be okay to move our reservation to a table that has all chairs so it would be easier for people to get in and get out considering their unlimited side bars and more importantly it 's much easier and convenient for our 2 pregnant women. The lady was not accommodating telling us that the restaurant is saving the tables/chairs for parties of 10+ because it was the weekend. This made absolutely zero sense the lady was clearly on some sort of power trip and LAZY because she did not want to move some tables around for us. She even mentioned that we could go to a different restaurant if we wanted too! In hindsight, we absolutely should have, but eventually, the lady got off her high horse and agreed that we can move to a different table with all chairs. After putting in our order, we went to the unlimited side bar to see what they had. One thing I noticed was that they discontinued offering JAPCHAE, all of the provided unlimited items are a much smaller portion than when I went a few months ago, and they no longer serve ice cream as a dessert.Such a bummer! But also, not surprised as this was a very poor showing of the restaurant which is a clear reflection of the rude and unprofessional lady working there! The lady working was also so slow at getting us our water! We also had to flag her down for all of the refills on tea... yikes!Anyways, if you want to come to this restaurant, please be prepared to pay for OVERPRICED food (each food item is about $18+ , mediocre side bar, rude customer service, poor customer service, flag people down to get refills on drinks, and oh the kicker THEY CHARGE YOU FOR TAKE OUT CONTAINERS!!!! They charge $1 for a big one which is a standard take out container, and $0.50 for a small one which can barely fit anything. What an absolute joke!Don 't be a fool and support this restaurant. I won 't be coming back ever again and will absolutely be telling all my friends and family to not come either. If anyone knows of any customer service type classes that I can send to the lady working there, please don 't hesitate to message me as I can relay the link to her!"
