"They cannot seem to get it right. I have one simple request each time I visit. WELL DONE french fries. They always come out WHITE I also inform them it is for HERE, do NOT put in in a bag or cover them with a lid. Please leave them open to air, so they do not get soggy This often is overlooked. But most of all MAKE them some shade of BROWN! On the other hand the staff are hard workers and always pleasant. These french fries are with a soda and tip and tax come to nearly $12. Why would I want to return? The management has asked that I reach out to them which I have twice without a reply from them. Management isn’t serious here they reach out to you and ask you to email them but yet there’s never a response."

"The chicken was delicious and the gravy surprisingly tasty for a fast food joint. The potatoes seemed to be instant, but were still acceptable. The fries were better than expected. However, the prices were a bit high. Overall, a good option for a quick meal, but a bit overpriced."

"Juicy chicken and decent sizes. Batter seems way darker than their website, either bc of using old oil or over cooking. I ordered spicy but it was lacking a lot flavor and spice.Rolls, gravy, and mash potato were bland as well. Missing seasoning.Mac and cheese was decent. But nothing to rave about.I’m currently seeking a decent southern fried chicken spot; this isn’t it. I’m from Louisiana so Popeyes there is my standard. I miss their golden chicken.I prefer Jollibee’s chicken"

"Ezell's is well-known in the Puget Sound region for good reason - their chicken is outstanding and the sides are delicious. I've never had a bad meal here. The potato salad is homemade and fresh, with a simple, classic taste. In addition to the potato salad, they offer other sides like baked beans, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, and okra. They also have a few dessert options. The prices are still affordable, and the quality of the food is top-notch. And did I mention how amazing the chicken is?"

"you have to stop using those delivery app drivers that cannot use a card. I live 10 minutes in beacon hill and they took my job to west seattle and back. there was no way to contact them to tell them they were free. No one would answer in their load and their mailbox is full so I could even leave a message. After I saw that they were in west seattle, I had to get something for the kids. when the order finally arrived (an hour and a half after I ordered it) it was cold. I paid $80 for rest. (including a 25% drinking money I paid in advance) that happened a lot. the last guy said he didn't use a card app because he tried to challenge himself. that's like you're telling a guy who hammers a nail, and he's starting to hit him instead of using the hammer that's in his hand."

"I must say I was disturbed by how the “manager” up front was treating the 2 female employees. He was talking down to them and barking remarks that were not appropriate. He was a black male and he was making the comments to a young Asian and Caucasian girl very uncomfortable. Not cool dude, this isn’t your wife, it’s your employees. Food was excellent as always."

"Decent chicken tenders but my issue with Ezells over the years is the lack of consistency. Sometimes the tenders are big and tendons have been removed but more often than not the tendons have not been properly removed and the size of the tenders are not the same. I never know if Ill get good quality. Consistency is key. Ive ordered from three different Ezells over the last 5 years and same issues no matter the store or location."

"I had no idea Ezell's Famous Chicken was franchised outside of Seattle. One episode of THAT'S DELICIOUS on Viceland the crew was in Seattle at Ezell's and they got to meet the Owner.. As far as my personal experience today on the South Hill, great overall experience! Alan and Corbin were on the ball as well as very customer friendly and the food service was prompt. Everything I ordered from the chicken and side dishes to the dessert's were fantastic! I will be recommending to others and I definitely will be back. I just wish I didn't live an hour away."

"Highly recommended! The 1 pound chicken tenders (spicy) was wonderful The breading was crisp and flavorful (not soggy) and the meat was cooked exactly right. The level of "spicy" wasnt overwhelming at all. Rather it added to the flavors without too much heat. I enjoy the ranch and/or hit sauces with these 1 lb. Tenders."

"I have never been so sorry for a dinning choice ever in my life!I wanted to try both the chicken livers and gizzards, you have to order individually at a pretty high price. The gizzards were almost impossible to eat. Tough as hell! The livers had hardly any flavor meat wise, overcooked not fresh. The chicken was overcooked and so was the fried ocra. The mashed potatoes and coleslaw portions were small that came with the 4 piece dark meat meal. The mac and cheese was bland and chewy, not cheesy like the menu pic. The soda fountain was down and bottled soda had 2 options water was not free either. The staff was friendly but not thoughtful, they didn't think to bring plates, there were 3 of us sharing this meal and they didnt think to bring butter and honey for the biscuits. When I asked I recieved 3 each when there were 6 biscuits. My meal after tip was almost 70 bucks and the food was horrible. I was surprised they had customers. Ps I don't do negative reviews but it was THAT bad!"
