"I’m a huge fan of Original Joe’s. It feels like one of the Sopranos might be sitting in the booth next to you, and they have some of the nicest, quirkiest servers around. Very friendly, and charming, I’ve never had a bad meal here. I love their hours, as they’re open until very late, and you’ll be guaranteed to walk home with left overs, unless you eat competitively. They have fantastic ravioli, made with veal, not just a bad ricotta mix, and good red sauce. I’m a big fan of their eggplant parmigiana, which is crisp, and melty and gooey, a tough combination to come by. They make a pretty good clam linguine too, though, it’s a touch creamy for my taste. It’s really more of a 4.5 star review, as some of their dishes don’t rock my world, and you can end up waiting for a while to get a seat, but that’s a sign of good food and good value, not bad service."
