"Was here with my mother for a Saturday brunch/lunch and it was very busy. Not a ton of seating, but they also have exterior seats that helped dilute the amount inside. The portions were nice and the staff was very friendly. I felt that it took our food a little too long and had to ask how much longer it would be. Nevertheless, prices and food were good considering that it is a small mother/pop diner. I don't know if I'd go back, but it was a nice little place. All staff were so friendly and friendly!"

"After reading the reviews online, I decided to give Mama Carols an attempt. I was very happy with my food. I ordered a little chicken fried steak dinner and it was delicious. I was also very impressed by how much food was included in a small one. I couldn't even finish the whole plate. Oh, and the price was more than reasonable."

"Easy to see directly from Old County Road Service Plainview and the adjacent areas of Nassau County. Many parking spaces and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. "This charming local neighborhood market offers fantastic options. I'm writing this review because I had a wonderful experience with the manager. When I asked her if they had any sourdough bread, she looked around and unfortunately couldn't find any. Later, though, she approached me again and offered to bake fresh sourdough bread just for me if I was willing to wait 15 minutes. Such kindness is truly heartwarming! It's something you might expect in other places, but especially during the pandemic, it felt exceptional. I will definitely be returning often!"

"I used to enjoy their food at their previous location but, now they have moved inside a college building that, you can't gain access to unless you're a student or employee. They offer “pick up” and there are designated parking spots for that but, no one answers when you call to solicit said “pick up order”. Waste of time."
