"I've eaten here before and have had food brought to me from here before, and I've always liked it from what I remember. I hadn't eaten inside in forever, but that changed on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. I had the day off work and decided to go have lunch there. Overall, the food was good (which came to me rather quickly after the order was taken, so thumbs up there), but the service was horrible. I came in, and while a lot of the outside seating was filled, the inside had several vacant tables (it's also seat yourself). They did not appear to be busy (more so a normal, steady volume of customer flow). The whole time I was taking my time eating, my server never once checked on me to see if I needed anything or asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink. I finally asked another server to get me one. My server was too busy the entire time I was there, talking exclusively with one other customer (whom she appeared to know), and only stopped briefly to take ready orders to tables or to take orders from a new customer. If this is the type of customer service Happy Days Cafe offers, I won't be in a hurry to come back. I'll be back eventually, as I like supporting local businesses, but y'all have got to do better than that."
