"A vibrant scene and populated restaurant is had promise. This didnt live up to the hype, vice or rating. Wine, even by the glass is grossly over priced. Two of our pasta dishes were tough, pasta massively under cooked and no waitstaff checked to discussed. Prosciutto tortellini -I could not locate a flavor of prosciutto-Im not sure what this dish was… Risotto should be creamy-mushroom risotto was watery to the point it was a rice dish with 5-7 slices of mushrooms o top.. reduced balsamic, fresh basil aged shaved parmigiana would have added depth to this dish. It’s a poor representation of risotto. Short rib bolognese was minus the ribs. This restaurant is cutting back on key ingredients in their dishes to their loss of flavor and excellence. Our waiter had promise, but our three top could compete with his 6 top and service suffered although plenty of staff was on hand.. Garlic bread was saturated in evoo and garlic light. Best part was the hot meatball (which were tepid almost cold) and salted caramel meringata for dessert flambé table side. Not impressive for a top 20 DC restaurant."
