"Rosetta calls itself a Trattoria. First of all, every trattoria in Italy has a tablecloth not wooden or plastic tables. Rosetta charges fine dining prices for an establishment where most men turn up in shorts for dinner and where the cooking has very little resemblance to Italian cooking. A Restaurant which would not last a week in Italy. My husband ordered Fettuccini alla Bolognese. The sugo bore no resemblance to a true Bolognese sauce neither in texture , colour nor cooking. In fact, the much too wide fettuccini were floating in a pale reddish liquid sauce with no trace of extra virgin olive, long slow cooking or parmigiano reggiano. I, on the other hand, had the tagliolini with crab and chili. In Italy the dish would have had a liberal taste of peperoncino and sufficient salt. mine had neither. Then came the Parmigiana di Melanzane with huge thick slices of eggplant layered with thick unmelted slices of Fiore di Latte not Buffalo mozzarella covered with an insipid tomato sauce and practically no parmesan or basil. I have lived in Italy for years and know Italian cooking. In addition, I know how to cook it"

"Food was very good. Service was not as good as it had been in the past. The fact that we were seated in a corner did not bother me, but evidently as a table for 2, we did not get the level of attention that I have come to expect in the fine restaurant. I probably relate that to the fact that the restaurant was quite busy with large tables. I certainly will return as I find this continues to be a wonderful restaurant."

"BEST BURGER I’ve ever had! I came in for pasta, but the server said that her favorite menu item was the burger. So glad I asked! It was AMAZING. And the house red wine beats anyone’s in the city…dry, complex and scrumptious. Staff is friendly and welcoming yet professional industrious. It’s no wonder that it’s so difficult to get a table during peak hours. Can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a wonderful dinner in Gemma. The highlight was the atmosphere. We spent a relaxed two and a half hours and we could totally relax. Beautiful decor feels like you're going back in a classic NY Italian restaurant. The service was excellent, the sommelier very charming. Very recommend to get its entrance when you order wine. He came with a delicious selection for us, the Canapone Santa Vittoria. Order the Risotto (scrumptious) and the truffles Gnocchi (daily special... also scrumptious). I got sticker shock on the bill, but this is NY..."

"Restaurant was too understaffed. Our reserved table was given away when we arrived so we sat in another section of the restaurant. It took about 90 minutes to receive the entree. Waiter could only say they were busy and had a very large group in another section of restaurant. After multiple attempts I found an owner of the restaurant and our meals were delivered with-in 10 minutes. Not a good experience based upon the price level."

"we ordered the pizza of my daughter first and asked that she be brought out immediately. Instead we go first our pizza and forget to put the order for my daughter. our pizza was boiled in the middle and fell apart before they could pick it up. it took a long time for someone to get the attention to us to talk about the missing pizza and the undercooked pizza. no good experience."

"The Prime Rib is a perfect place for a beautiful birthday dinner. From start to finish, the staff made sure our experience was memorable. From our server Nicole who was warm, welcoming and ended up becoming an honorary member of the “sister circle; to the manager Ramaine, who was super friendly and checked on us throughout the night, the service was superb. As for the food, our 24 oz Bone-In ribeye was cooked as requested and seasoned quite well. The lobster mac was okay, but I’m partial to my mother’s mac cheese , so that dish is hard to win me over. For dessert, we had our own cupcakes and they were delicious. Overall, the experience was 5 and I definitely would recommend. Remember, if you go ask for Nicole to be your server. She’s great!"

"we really enjoyed our visit in the a tavola bar trattoria. the restaurant was cozy and somewhat crowded, but we enjoyed immediate seating for our party of 7. the prices are very reasonable, but the waiting staff will recommend a pizza and an appetizer for all two people. So they plan to get around $30 to $45 depending on drinks for two. the beer selection is usually flicking, but there are eight beers on the tape I enjoyed the octave festival, which was tasty but mild in relation to ibu and abw. I liked the cauliflower slightly coated with a vinaiigrette dressing, but I prefer a slightly more crisp cooked vegetables. my friend loved the stuffed dates packed in speck and then filled with sausage. we tried three of the pizzas; margarita, sweet hem and speck and artichoke. they were all very good. I love the soft chest. the artichoke pizza was delicious and not overwhelmed by the pesto (as usual). we all liked the hot olives on the antipasto plate and the accompanying sauces. the taste of the heap was completely lost in the cheese and speck in the sweet pea pizza. my daughter loved the Margarita pizza and gave me no chance to try it. the remaining room needed some attention, but it was the midday hour. my wife enjoyed the thunfischsalat, but it might contain more thunfisch than was necessary and it was still a bit left. overall we want this place and while there are many options on the vine street, we are very likely to come back."

"Food was great. The service was great. The air conditioning was terrible. Was probably degrees inside and outside. We ordered our dinner and went outside for drinks. The outdoor area is very nice, and the light winds felt better than the circulation inside. The waiter did later bring a fan to put close to our table. I will definitely go back, but maybe later in the fall"
