"I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews, but at the same time, I get it. It's not as horrible as some other reviewers have stated, but it's decent enough. The portions of all the food that was ordered were great. The prices were great. The taste was just decent. Decent enough. But if you take into consideration the portion, the price, and the quality. It isn't a bad spot to grab a quick meal. If I'm in the area, I would stop by again. It wouldn't be my #1 choice, but I would stop by again."

"1. This place can be hard to find at first glance it’s within the Plum Convenience store with the red awning.2. We tried the Buffalo Pizza on a whim when we saw it on GrubHub and we keep coming back for it! So good, tasty! Somewhat sweet dough but it’s a positive for us. (Even the Steelers fan in the background approves."

"We've wanted to try Basil's since moving to Winterville in 2021. The service leaves MUCH to be desired, the pasta salad is not pasta salad at all; its macaroni salad.. You'd think an Italian restaurant would know the difference.. I ordered a Cuban sandwich, it was like eating a brick. As for service, it took the waiter 20 minutes to even acknowledge that we were in the restaurant and when he finally got to us, he apparently didn't listen to our needs. We ordered an appetizer (as a type 1 diabetic, it was kind of important); never received it. Our meal came out about 30 minutes after ordering. Moral of this story, go anywhere else but here.."

"The barbecue chicken pizza was overcooked and almost tasteless with very little sauce. I didn't expect chicken wraps to come out as chicken burritos served with french fries. I asked to be plain and yet they had hot lettuce inside of them with chicken in a sauce of some sort. Maybe it's a thing down in Jacksonville but we don't usually make our chicken wraps like burritos."

"Nice small pizza place with friendly staff, great service and delicious food. We came in from Arizona for a family day at the beach and wanted some pizza to wrap up our day. Found this one online and decided to give it a try because it was super close to where we parked. Glad we chose Beach Pizza because it was a great experience. The pepperoni pizza bites were yummy and the garlic knots were the “best ever” according to our teenager. Then we got the pizza and it was wonderful too. Everyone was on top of things with service and they were also super busy with to-go orders nonstop. Bonus that they even serve beer and wine! Thanks for the happy full bellies for our family. Definitely would eat here again."

"I worked for Bruce and Scott at Fruit Cove site a long time ago. I can honestly say they're not just great bosses, they have the best pizza in Jacksonville. Whenever I come to visit Jacksonville from Colorado, it's a priority of me to get some pizza at Brucci. Make yourself a favor and visit her business, you'll be safe again. I hope you're doing great!"
