"We have been coming to the Chrome Bar and Grill for several years, soon after they opened. It is a good alternative place to go when you just want a simple and reasonably priced dinner before an event. The club sandwich and their hamburger are particularly good. The staff, also, are friendly and helpful. That said, they aren't perfect: they forget requested items and don't bring spoons when you order coffee which requires you to use your fork or knife for stirring. But I'm sure this can be fixed with a little better training. The odd thing is, they were closed for several months June early November) for renovations, and upon going there recently, nothing much has changed. In fact it looked better before. You can see where they removed a corner booth, and there is actually bare concrete exposed, with markings painted on the floor for the contractors' use, probably for electrical or other placements; the carpet is obviously the same. The walls might have been painted white and the bar area simplified which makes everything look sterile. Again, it looked much better, warmer, and inviting before. One can only imagine why they were closed for so long, and what they were really doing in there. Questioning upper management's decisions is like questioning the government, God only knows why they do things and the final outcome is worse. Another criticism although not much can be done about this) is that once in a while there are a bunch of people sitting at the bar yelling their heads off while watching a ballgame or something on the TV, and it's kind of annoying. I know it's a bar, too, but sometimes it's hard to eat. But really, this hasn't happened too much. Overall I gave this place a solid 4 stars because of the bottom line the food and staff) is good and enjoyable for the money."
