You order your food first, or grab the ready made meals, drinks etc then pay at the cashier and get a paid sticker on your items if you will dine in. "I love diner food and don't expect much re: atmosphere, but this one was a little grimier than typical. When I go to a greasy spoon for breakfast, at the very least I expect really good coffee. Their's was horribly harsh and no amount of cream and sugar could fix it. OJ, equally bad bitter, expired maybe. Drank 2 sips. The plain pancakes that I ordered were excellent but could not make up for the horrid coffee and OJ, thus 3 stars only."

"We've been going here for years. Food was always good. But wow did the service go down hill. Waiter disappeared on us for a long time, then when the food came out, it was slightly incorrect....and cold. Then we didn't see him again. Usually waiter's come back to see how you're doing if we need ketchup, napkins....etc.. we were asking other waiters that passed by but they just gave dirty looks. I guess we didn't belong to them. Then we asked the bus boy for more coffee and he came back within seconds. LOL. I should've left him the tip. A burger and an egg sandwich $35. Not worth the crappy service. What a shame."

"Excellent diner. Food here is better than a lot of other diners. The breakfast is strong here as well as the fried food. I would recommend the waffles and pancakes. The batter they use is very good. Also their fresh ice tea is very good as well. Lots of space and the food comes out very quickly. Almost everything I've ordered here, I would order again. Give this place a try if your in the neighborhood."

"Went there for the first time yesterday. The staff is friendly and service quick and excellent. I got the beef gyro, delicious and reasonably priced. The orzo soup amazing! My favorite was the way they make their fries, hot and crispy and enough for a whole meal I went back today and got a delicious corned beef Ruben. Today I noticed they have beautiful pastries including cheese cake and baklava. Can't wait to try their breakfast and dinner items!"

She got an Italian sub and I got a chicken bacon wrap. (my Ma is wicked particular about her food...but she was thrilled that her order was perfect. "I had the Po' Boy Sandwich while my friend ordered the pistachio salad. Both dishes were fresh and could be frozen for later, but that felt like a missed opportunity. We also enjoyed the mango salsa as we waited. However, when the meals arrived, we noticed there was no ventilation, and the smell of oil became quite strong. With just a good kitchen fan, this charming spot could easily become a five-star hidden gem."

"My husband George and his friends meet at Estrellas twice a week for breakfast or lunch, and they all love the food. My husband is usually hard to please when it comes to food, but he always praises Estrellas. We recently picked up a large bottle of their tortilla soup, and I decided to get some to-go containers for myself. It was delicious! I told him to bring me a container home once a week from now on. "Really disappointed at my experience here. Firstly their staff was very rude. I went up to order a salad I was told I need to fill out a form on the other side of the store to order. After I filed it out I then waited on line again to bring up my order. I Was then told that I have to hand it to someone back on the other side of the store. I waited there for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging I was there. Someone finally came over after I had to go back up to the front counter to let them know I have been waiting. This place used to be so friendly and quick.very disappointed."
