"I always love stopping on road trips to get Sant fe grill. I stopped at this location and went to order my fave breakfast dream burrito and was told the girl cooking stopped cooking breakfast burritos at 12. I thought that was weird because I have ordered breakfast burritos even late at night at all other Santa Fe grill locations. The girl cooking told me they stopped breakfast burritos at 12 at this location only because she can’t stand the smell of eggs and the owner lets her do that. Needless to say, they lost a customer here because they have a cook that chooses not to cook eggs because she “doesn’t like eggs”."

"I usually get the Brush Fire and the Baja Shrimp and whatever the taco of the month is. I recommend you try the taco of the month each month. Obviously by the time you read this whatever was the taco of the month will no longer be. But the last two months November and December they've been fire. Really good. They're generally really good. So check them out. Fair warning, the sauce on the brush fire is really hot. I like spicy food but, it's about the limit of my enjoyment.I like Torchy's for the most part. The only bad experience I've had is with take out. I wouldn't do takeout. The tacos are just a little expensive, and sometimes there's a crowd and a wait for your order. And it's order at the counter, no service. But generally I think it's the best of the taco places. Although I'm always on the lookout for an independent."

"I like this Torchy's (Hulen location) the best out of the ones I have visited. Nice layout and just a cool feel. Also has a nice little bar area that I could easily see myself hanging at and watching some sports. We have been here several times and we have enjoyed our visits. I think their queso is one of the better ones around TBH. Lot's of food choices and most aren't you typical taco, but so far I haven't been disappointed in any of my selections. We had one little glitch on a recent visit. We had a little issue with our server who was just probably having a bad day. Normally, it's easy to brush it off, but after two visits to the table with a less than welcoming demeanor, we asked and spoke with a manager. Nothing can get changed if management doesn't know there is a problem so.... Anyway, the manager listened to our concerns and assured us that they would have a chat with the server and all was good. We weren't looking to get anything free or get anyone in any real trouble, but we let the manager know that our experience was a departure from the norm there. I am certain that our next visit will be back up to our normal expectations. While some may see this as a negative review, it isn't. Any establishment can have an off moment, many times caused by one person having an off day. It's how the problems are handled are what can make a mediocre client experience, into a client for life. I am a happy Torchy's customer and I am sure I will be back soon!In edit: The owner/manger even followed up on this review (see below). This is the kind of customer engagement that keeps people coming back. Kudos to the folks at Torchy's!"

"I have been going here for 2 years. This location spec. So far, I never had a problem here. The food is good, the service is on point and it's just a place I chill afterwards.A special shoutout to Shae(Front) she is amazing and always kind to me and my family. I enjoy her service everytime. She even stops by to see if we need anything without asking at times.She's professional.I feel the same way about Peyton(Bartender).She always greets me with respect and handles customers very well. "Never go to the 12th and South location. It's by far the worst Deleon's in Lincoln. They routinely leave out ingredients no matter what you order, their portions are much smaller than all the other stores and they actually water down their guacamole so much it sometimes makes the chips soggy. They make a guacamole sauce at that location that's sometimes thicker than the actual guacamole they charge money for and serve on everything like on their guacamole chips and that sauce is free! Probably why they are more than happy to replace your runny guacamole and soggy chips with even more runny guacamole and soggy chips if you complain. That's not worst thing about this location. The worst is the owner will lie to you about all the corners he cuttting. He'll even go so far as to disparage the other locations to make himself seem not as bad by comparison. Except for the North 27th location which according to him is the only store using fresh avocados making their guacamole the same way as he does which to me means he owns that location too and you should absolutely stay as far away from that store as you possibly can too."

"The food here is delicious, the location is elegant, and the staff is very friendly. From the menu it seemed that there were hardly any vegan food for dinner, except for a few salads.. If I hadn't read the other reviews on Happy Cow, I wouldn't have asked for other options. Ideally, a restaurant should have clearly listed their vegan items on the menu --other there is always the risk that if you arrive, they will say oh, we do not serve vegan items."

I ordered a brushfire taco, green chili queso chips and a drink and was more than full. tab was $13.76 not inconvenient in the face of the taco was made with real grilled meat, ananas, grilled jalapenos, etc. the flour tortilla taco dish can also have been. good taste and presentation the queso and chips were excellent. obviously real cheese, guacamole and green chiles. fresh crispy chips. pricy, but so good that at most places would be the usual cola, pepsi or gott prohibit rc. not here. these youngs serve the main root brand so. more real sugar, real smells, and so much better than the pepsi attempt,...read more"

"eating was great, but they need work on cleanliness. When I left, it was very creepy. eat half eat, teller, what not on the tables long after we show up on the left. the mülldose was full of müll from the tip that were flying loved lol I was just for them to clean because I worked in the restaurants before! "This is the second time I was in Torchy and it won't be the last. The first time I left was her opening day in December 2016. They were packed for lunch! I mean, the seams. Nevertheless, despite new staff, new location, etc... the food was delicious and the service at the bar was excellent. I had the trailer park, Hillbilly style. It's fair and worth it. Yesterday, 10. February 2017 I took a friend there for lunch. We sat back at the bar and were warmly and quickly welcomed. I asked about the secret menu... yes, they did this... Torchy's, guess it's no secret anymore! Anywhoo, ordered the Matador! NEW FAV!!! The pickled onions sent it over the top! They also had Real Ale Fireman's #4 on **** for $2/pint! Yay! The only hard part it chooses to have which taco if you can eat only one.... #thestruggleisreal Keep the big job Torchy 's!!!"

"Went by there this morning, 8/29/24. Never been for breakfast. The two Wrangler Tacos were outstanding. I had the salsa put on the side. I did not catch the person's name that served me, but she was exceptional. Her greeting me to making a menu suggestion when I told her I was new to the breakfast scene to how she made us all feel welcomed as other customers arrived. Thank you for hiring such a wonderful service oriented person. They are getting more rare these days."
