"Visited Thai Ginger for dinner with my brother and sister. We ordered four dishes. The Chicken Satay are chicken tenders marinated with coconut milk and served with Peanut sauce and cucumber salad. One toasted bread is given cut in four pieces. I never knew toasted bread could taste so good when dipped in peanut sauce. I kid you not. Tom Yum Soup (Prawns), (S:6USD L:11USD) I always order Tom Yum Soup when visiting a Thai restaurant. Something about the sweet, sour and spicy combination that never fails to enlighten me. Salmon Curry, 13USD Salmon curry is a unique combination of choice but it is sure hella good. The Penang curry sauce is ridiculously generous that we are drowned within. "Nice Japanese restaurant in Stone Oak. Walked in and was immediately greeted and given the option to pick any table as it was not crowded. Waitress was very prompt in bringing drinks and taking the orders. She was very friendly and did a great job of constantly stopping by. Ordered the soft shell crab and calamari frito as appetizers. There's not many places to get soft shell crab, so had to try it. It was well-prepared and plated nicely. The batter was very crunch and the soft shell crab very flavorful. The calamari frito was a nice surprise too. It was thicker and sushi grade squid instead of the thinner calamari at most places. For the meals, ordered the Karaegi Chicken, Combo Yakisoba, Mini Chirashi, and two pieces of Yellowtail sushi. The mini chirashi was a nice mix of 3 pieces of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The sushi was all very fresh and of good quality. The seaweed salad that came with it was also really good; I'd even recommend that as an appetizer or side dish. The yakisoba bento meal came with a small salad, gyoza, and small rolls. The salad had a nice dressing, gyoza was nice and crispy, and rolls were what you'd expect. The yakisoba noodles were good, but the meats were a little dry. The karaegi chicken was different and in no related to karaage chicken. It must be their own dish as I'm not familiar with an actual karaegi chicken. Instead of the deep fried karaage chicken, the karaegi chicken is marinated and served in the sauce. It reminded me of a chicken dish you may receive at a Chinese restaurant. Not that it was bad, but was different than I expected. Overall, good experience as the sushi was of good quality and grade. Service was great. I'll probably return and order from the sushi menu."

"This is the first local place that blew my socks off, we’re talking slap your grandma good. I took my fiancé here on a date and WOW!We started with Gyoza (pork dumplings) and the server brought them out so fast it felt like they popped out of thin air. They were the perfect flavor and crispy-ness for a fried dumpling. For dinner we had teriyaki chicken and the steak and chicken. We both got the regular size instead of the large, but I was stunned with the portion size. She’s the pregnant one, but I definite look pregnant now too because it was SO MUCH FOOD. I don’t typically eat carbs, but when I saw the fried rice I could resist a bite. Genuinely the best I’ve ever had. Plus the sauce on the side was to die for. Lastly for desert we got the fried banana with vanilla ice cream and it was fantastic! Just the right sweetness, and again, huge portion (definitely enough to share between us).I couldn’t be happier with my experience here tonight and I’ll definitely be bringing friends and family regularly.Also, thanks Emma for the awesome service! Best service on this side of the Mississippi for sure!"

"This is a beautifully located restaurant on the top of a small mountaintop location that makes it feel like such an authentic Japanese location. I am giving 2 stars unfortunately do to the experience that we had at the restaurant (if you look at my profile I barely give 1 2 star reviews). The food was good, the drinks were good however our chef and server just didn?t have it tonight. No smiles, long waits and in general just not a pleasant attitude. The tables next to us were singing, laughing and tricks were being had. I?m sure for many the experience will be great, hopefully this can help provide some candid feedback to the restaurant management team."

"A fantastic sushi restaurant, but it depends on what you get. Creamy Seared Albacore Pepper Salmon AMAZING! They are expensive but the quality of the fish is worth it. The flavor was exceptional and very unique compared to other sushi places. Franky Roll Excellent. If you like lemon and salmon this is great. Good cuts of fish and flavor. Philadelphia Roll This had bad cuts of fish, with mostly fat and skin, with a disappointing texture and taste. Crunchy Roll Your standard Americanized roll. Good crab and shrimp. "ONE waitress for multiple tables, wait times for table service, the check, the bag to go was ridiculous. Our chef was great although she shorted me on the chicken fried rice and had to get my portion from the take out line, which I did not appreciate at all. There were only 7 people at our table and she still didn’t have enough fried rice for all 7. I think the guy in the first seat who was only have rice, got double portions."

I had the whisky beef to dinner and it was amazing! the bark was tender, the sauce was minimal and the vegetables were crispy. my man had the flesh buddha cen. it was also amazing. as mine! offers, minimal soned and crispy vegetables. we will try again other things on the menu! the service was also great!"

"Wow. Just, wow. This place used to be amazing. But we just ordered delivery and 1) were missing items, 2) had none of the sauces that came with any of the dishes, 3) were missing almost all of the seasonings that the dishes required, 4) got the most low-budget wasabi package of all time, 5) had the fishiest, grossest, chewiest and most rank-tasting fish I've ever had in my life. "If you enjoy watching chefs cook right in front of you, then this is the place to be! The chefs put on an excellent show while you enjoy your meal right before your eyes. The sushi here is also top-notch, with a wide variety of options and special rolls to choose from. I have been here several times and always find myself ordering the same delicious roll and leaving satisfied. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault! "We had reservations for my son's birthday at 8:30p. As I work Mon-Sat. 1-8p on Fridays. We were seated immediately even though it wasn't 8:30 yet and not everyone was there. The young lady asked for our drink order we told her but also told her we had 2 more coming. She acted mad about that. She brought our drinks then wanted our order. We told her we are waiting for the other two. She asked us rudely so you're gonna wait on them? I said um yeah our reservations are for 830 that's still 2mins off. When they got there she asked if we was ready. I said the just sat down can you get their drinks first? She rolled her eyes and huffed. She got upset when we wanted more drinks. She got really upset when I asked for the cake I had her put in the back.. I asked for for plates and forks. She ignored me. Then brought the cake in the sack and got mad when I asked again for plates and forks. Oh and she had them start coming to take our food. I wasn't half way done because they forgot my daughters steak and I gave her mine because he got hers mixed up once he got it and gave it to her medium rare when she asked for med well. He did apologize and fixed it. Then my mom left to go to the restroom she took her food and the ice cream she had just brought her I told her she could leave it. She literally looked at me and took it! Absolutely the worst service ever! I know it was late and closing time but you all offered a group of 8 to come I at 830 for a birthday party. It was obviously gonna go past closing time. Very rude!"

"I tried something new and got the mt.fuji roll and I'm here to tell you, you need to try the mt.fuji roll! It's large, but soo soo delicious. They are quick and the quality of the sushi was amazing! We also got yakasoba here and it was the best we've had in quite some time! Would definitely reccomened to a friend/family/random and will be eating here again. A few years ago my mom accidently ordered me a few rolls of sushi and I get in and the total was $81. I was totally taken back! They said well.. this is what you ordered right? "Great Service! Tasty sushi! My husband and I are regulars here, eating as often as once a week. It's a great date night for us because we can always get a table, order and eat great tasting food and be back home faster than you'd wait to get a table almost anywhere else on Lincoln Ave on a Friday or Saturday night. I prefer the slight variations in preparation here over the one in Japantown. We recommend: The Japantown, Super Spicy Bakudan, Singapore roll, hanabi roll, Yam Yam, and tuna and salmon sashimi are great!
