"Our group of 6, including 2 young teens, had lunch at Bad Daddy's in downtown Raleigh recently. The server was new but did an overall excellent job. Our teen boys both had milkshakes (key lime oreo) and said they were without a doubt the best milkshakes they'd ever had anywhere. Several in our party did the create-your-own burger and the kitchen got everything right. The mac cheese at Bad Daddy's is to die for, those who ordered sweet potato fries loved them, a side Caesar was very good and so were the tater tots. I wasn't crazy about the beer-battered onion rings; something about the taste didn't sit right with me, almost like they were bland. But others loved them. Our chicken tender eaters were also pleased. It cost about $160 for 6 of us before tip, all eating adult portions, including drinks for all, a few extra sides and the 2 milkshakes. The parking lot is TINY and quite tight so we parked on the street, but it was around 3 pm on a Sunday, so not a peak time. Condos have sprung up all around the Seaboard Station area, but there may be more parking around the corner or something."
