"Went here today only due to El Regio was not serving this morning now I am sad to say that this was the worst thing I have eaten in months and sad to say that I assume the owners just don 't care I have never been here prior so I asked the cashier a couple question like what makes the MEXICAN taco Mexican (since I am an American of Mexican decent, I would like to know). He didn 't know so he left and went to ask he said onion, tomatoes I asked jalapeños? He gestured yes. So I thought what the heck let 's do this. I ordered one MEXICAN taco and a brisket taco (because how could any place screw up a BRISKET taco). I then sat down and waited about 15 minutes as I watched some tourist order food from here (Asian group would say from Japan) and now am so sad that they think American food sucks this bad... then I realize nobody is getting their food so I walk back up and ask the guy (whom I just had an actual conversation with no more than 18 minutes ago) and he ask what was your order I replied the 3 tacos order he walks back and hands me a bag I ask do you have salsa? He said yes red or green I asked for both and lots he comes back with 2 so I ask for the 3rd, ya know with the 3 tacos (ordered a potato and egg for a co worker, assuming we are not friends any longer) and I head back to work. open the MEXICAN taco (wrapped in foil, do you know what a hot steamy taco does to a flour tortilla in foil... yep soft garbage) so I try to peel the goopy tortilla open to add the red sauce to try this hot mess...and see... in my MEXICAN TACO...sweet bell peppers and quite a few actually so my soggy MEXICAN TACO was really some steamed veg with wet eggs one bite then into la basura (the red sauce is like tomato puree) and then my thoughts go to the brisket because really brisket is a daily sign G0d in heaven loves us in Texas more than the rest of the world. HO LEE **** this stunk like an off brand sweet mesquite rub on a piece of meat that left alone with some smoke would have been absolutely fine. Sad this place exist and that some people eat here and like it. This is an great location and could be an amazing spot with a better kitchen and training for their employees (oh yeah I asked about the salsa, dude didn 't know, I did ask if it was his first day but it was his second week so that is on the manager and owner) we will see what opens there next"
