"I booked this because of the excellent reviews. Big mistake. We just had an amazing lunch in the Pearl, and this was not even close to quality or ambience. The clientele was loud, obnox, some drunk, sweatshirts, gold chains that felt it like a drunk friat house. The aubergine starter was full of herbal pieces that were not even cut into something justifiable they were massive, but not in a good way, it was the way that you cut everything back to put it on the bread. The server seemed inappropriate to literally pour our wine into the edge as if it were a soft drink. The bathrooms were quite dirty and had not been visited in some time. I have no idea how it gets these reviews. Perhaps the rest of the Riverwalk is worse, but for someone who has traveled a bit, this was a really surprisingly bad experience for one of the top rated restaurants in this city."

"We went to this restaurant to celebrate a special birthday. They had outdoor seating with a perfect view of the fountains and park stage, where there was entertaining music that added to the atmosphere. The service was quick and attentive. The cocktail menu offered unique and delicious options. We enjoyed the delicious food, including the appetizer bread, lobster tortellini, and pan-fried gnocchi. The chocolate creme brulee was outstanding. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant."

"the aroma cafe encino was clean and friendly, but eating was nothing to write home. the eating in the terrace could be tolerable during the warm summer months, but in the colder days of winter the terrace was uncomfortable and that is where we visited withte dezember. after a past we moved into the table, but even there it was not warm enough. my hamburger was not describing and was served with a dish full of fries that arrived warm. others in my party, maybe have something better, but no one has snatched over eating. service was fast and friendly. the prices were slightly higher than what the restaurant deserved. I will not come back."

"The ambience food is really good, definitely go if you don't have a steep price. The hospitality of our server came with hidden costs. If he recommends dishes, he offered stubborn off-Menu specialties such as calf. After we had dined and received the check, we were surprised that the different menu items were $60 per dish. We felt cheated. The server describes the off-menu elements as ?specials? but never mentions the price. Price information from off-menu specials would have been estimated. Overall, this restaurant did not meet my expectations."

"First Visit to this unique restaurant.Sat at the bar during Happy Hour. Bartender Will was great. Welcoming, helpful, laid back.Had the Pulled Pork Sliders, came with fries. Ate the Pork without the buns and it was plenty. The server that brought my food had a great attitude and was very helpful to bring extra BBQ sauce and Ranch Dressing for my fries; both made from scratch. The Ranch dressing is by far one of the best tasting and thickest I’ve ever had. Will went out of his way to make me Fresh Squeezed Lemonade that was yummy. Finally, a restaurant in Scottsdale that makes Fresh Squeezed Lemonade.Restaurant could be brighter, it’s pretty dark in there for daytime dining. Nice Art around the dining areas. Plenty of parking and a nice little patio as well as a nice patio area at the entrance where you might sit while waiting for a table during busy times.It was a pleasant experience and I’d love to return and recommend this place to you. I see there are some negative reviews, not sure what happened with those, but I’d say try it at least once and decide for yourself. My experience was good and I’m super picky as evidenced by my reviews."

"I reserved a table for four several weeks in advance on Open Table. I specifically requested one of the half-round booths in the balcony since we were bringing some good friends to help us celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. I called one day before the reservation to confirm they would be able to accommodate the request. The young lady confirmed it would be no problem since we were dining early (5:45 pm). I even called the day of the reservation a few hours before to confirm yet again, as I wanted our friends(who had not dined @WCK before) to enjoy the great view from the lowest balcony level of the open kitchen. Upon arrival, I asked the hostess if they were still going to be able to accommodate my special request. She nodded yes and away we went upstairs. Unfortunately, the hostess seated us in the highest level at an end table that could not even see the lower level. I was very disappointed but didn’t say anything since all of the booths appeared to be occupied. I understand things happen and our guests did not complain, but I was disappointed that the restaurant could not accommodate my repeated request from several weeks earlier. Other than the non-existent view and rather cramp space of the top corner table (plus it was a bit warm), service by Lex and the food was excellent. The server who brought our iced teas (one sweet one unsweet) misidentified them and caused an additional delay while one was replaced since I sipped from the wrong one. My wife also noticed the Box Office salad is now in a plate instead of the normal bowl that we have seen previously. She thought it was smaller than before and the presentation was not as nice. The entrees (filet, parma grana chicken, short rib, prime rib) all received good reviews. Taste temperature of the food was very good. All in all- a 4* experience that could have been 5* had we been given the booth requested repeatedly promised. We still love the place and will be back with other friends family."

"Fantastic! Our party of four all thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the service at this restaurant. The staff was funny and friendly, and the Italian cuisine was delicious. The portions were generous, reminiscent of traditional Italian family dinners. I couldn't help but think of Carmine's back in town. I even had to take two seats at home to finish my lasagna. We will definitely be back for more - yum yum!"

"The establishment, hotel restaurant, is still requiring employees to wear a mask! It is a very loud venue and it is difficult to hear especially when you can’t see the server or hostess mouth while they are wearing a mask! The service was fine, but the food was marginal and over priced. We ordered a steak medium, and it was delivered rare. No accommodation offered. Ordered an extra dirty Titos martini at the bar, which was served sans olives because “no one was available to retrieve the olives in the basement”! Beautiful venue, but over priced and less than average cuisine!"

"I had small dinner and will definitely go back. Cod was delicious, I would like it little less rare but flaky. Unintentionally ordered meatballs, it was good. Update: Amazing experience. Artichoke was one of the best I have ever tried. Didn't touch the white sauce at all. It's butter/lemon sauce is so good. Mix fish grill had salmon, tuna, and mahi mahi. All very fresh. Very well cooked. Risotto under it was surprisingly flavorful too Brulee was too sweet for me, but I liked it."

"treated at the door, said table was not ready and we could wait at a table at the door and enjoy a drink while we waited. friends ordered beer and we ordered wein. almost immediately after the drink, our table was ready. at the sitting places noticed a whole difference between our shooting and the other tables. our server was very busy and difficult to find when we needed something. not the best experience. was here many other paintings with a much better result. I will put this culinary experience as just “one of these things”. will return and hope for a much better experience."

"Delicious, delicious, nice food. There it is stuffed! There were 5 of us who shared 3 apps and then each had our own entrées. On the menu there was too much delicious sounding food. It's hard to decide. Was in a steak mood, so went with fillet mignon. Like butter in my mouth! So much different to choose. Can the next time try the simple Lobster Cobb Salat!? Not a very big room, but on a Tuesday night we were comfortable and fine among the other customers. Definitely repeat!!! ?"
