"The Brass Rail has a lively and often crowded bar scene on the main floor but a quieter ding room on the second. The greeting by the hostess was warm and genuine. The wait staff service is very attentive with the first question about food allergies reflecting authentic care and concern. We shared the Thai calamari appetizer which is incredibly flavorful and probably the best calamari dish in Hoboken. Both of us ordered the braised short ribs which was the perfect selection for a cold night. Truly comfort food that sticks to your ribs. The house Cabernet Sauvignon is a fabulous value at a glass. My wife had the Mohua Sauvignon blanc, again a great tasting e we one at a bargain price. Great attentive service, great food with a broad selection, all at a very reasonable price. We recommend it highly!"
