"Great atmosphere and the food is AMAZING!!!! The halibut was cooked to perfection and the tartar sauce was unreal!! When this place was recommended to us we were 'warned ' about the cooks and their attitude....Gotta say, I LOVE those guys. FSS isn 't some hoity toity place on Park Ave, where they sniff your a just so you can over tip them. F Street Station is as real as it gets with quality food, service, and atmosphere. Yes, the chefs are straight forward and not shy about their food and/or how you feel about it, but I wouldn 't have it any other way. Me: How 's the tartar sauce, is it good? Chef: Of course it 's good, I made it! But you try it and tell me what it 's all about. : He had me at 'Of ' : Just go!!! Don 't hesitate...And if you get a hair in your food, just spit it out and order another, hit happens."
