"I like Ellie's. I want to like it more, but I still haven't had that great experience consistently.Service is on the slow side consistently. Specifically, it is about 10 minutes before a server comes over once seated. And once we place our order, our server rarely comes back. A server's assistant will bring the food, but the server never comes back to check how things are going or even to bring the check. (This has happened 4 out of the 5 times I've dined there).I have had tasty dishes, but often the food isn't hot and today my pasta was a little under cooked. The food temperature could be part of the slow service. I usually send it back, but today I just ate it.I like to support local businesses so I'll be back.
