"It was my wife's birthday and we were never asked if we were to celebrate. It was our first time in this facility and we had to ask for bread. If bread on request a first customer would not know. I do not say that bad services were given, but there is definitely room for improvement. For many it is the small things that make a good experience a great one. Our server was not bad, but the overall experience is not what I would have expected from a place that is considered a fine food."

We experienced long waits when calling to make reservations, calls that continued to ring unanswered and unfortunately disconnected calls. However, with perseverance and determination the efforts are rewarded with a great meal. Be prepared walk-ins without reservations are already lining up outside at 5:00pm to enjoy the tasty menu. Customer service is great. Be forewarned that some guests appear to feel entitled and come off demanding and rude. The wait staff maintains their professional standards and is to be commended. "We went there the night before Thanksgiving and it was a great dinner. The appetizer, roasted Calamari, was good, but a large part of it was just roasted Jalapenos. My duck was the whole fish, and I loved him. The meat was tender and the skin was beautiful and crispy. My friend also enjoyed his risotto with scallops like add on. They gave quite a lot of scallops for a good price. For dessert we got the baked Alaska as dessert and it was huge."

"Gola Restaurant used to offer delicious food and excellent service in a secluded location. We used to enjoy bringing our family and visiting friends here. However, during our recent visit, we booked an early reservation to accommodate our young child's bedtime. Despite arriving for a 6:00 dinner, we were not served until 7:45pm, while our daughter was exhausted and upset. Our waitress checked on us multiple times to apologize for the delay. We ended up having to pack up our food and leave after waiting 105 minutes. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"This was my first time at Sacred Pepper and I had a wonderful culinary experience! The swordfish Napoleon I ordered was absolutely great, especially mentioned on the grilled asparagus! The server was very nice and not excessively chatting, just as I want to be treated! In addition, we were served free Calamari during waiting and that was a nice plus! The only drawback was that the place has a lingering food smell. It's probably on the fabric in the chairs. No, the smell is not bad because it's food, but it's too much. Also, I would really appreciate it if the crew didn't sweep the floor while the customers still eat. It only spoils the classicity of the ambience and all that."

"Quaint setting on the river in an old rustic brick building. Food is very good, especially the appetizers and salads. So fresh and original cuisine. The burger was good but the beef did have gristle which I loathe so it took away some of my joy. The bun was fresh as well as the sides and it was cooked perfectly but can't rate it five stars because of the meat. The service was great in the bar area , and the value is pretty good especially for the current status of the country. We will return to try some different options."

"Piccolos Toscana is wonderful. The staff greeted us quickly, delivered our appetizers and drinks in the bar and brought our dinner requests in a very reasonable time. The food was delicious. Who knew hummus and grilled avacodo could be so good? Even two in our group do not normally like avocado loved the grilled avocado appetizer. We all finished every bit of our entrees. "This restaurant is a hidden jewel in Atlanta. We were in Atlanta for the OU/LSU playoff game and found this restaurant had a time slot after the game. We made the reservation through Open Table. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Sam, our server, was very friendly, attentive and helpful. After our trip, we all rated this our favorite meal. The wine selection is very good and there is free valet parking. I would highly recommend this hidden jewel when visiting Atlanta. The fish special was red snapper and was excellent."
