"Mask sign on door, owner didn?t have face covered and was coughing. (I should have turned away then) ordered 4 wings and 4 pieces of whiting. The whiting is not whiting and has skin on the back, the wings are small. After receiving my food one guy asked me what type of sauce I wanted and when I told him he threw his hands up saying no no no no that?s a special sauce it costs $1. Wow $1 would not have been an issue however that is NOT how you conduct business. You do not yell at your customers as if they can not pay or aren?t willing to pay for a $1 item. The bread that came with the fish was hard. That was my first and last time ever in this establishment. I do not recommend eating here as the food is over priced and not worth the money. Please get real whiting fillets for your orders and regular size chicken wings, along with fresh bread. If you want Sharks the drive to Minnesota Ave is well worth it! These people are not affiliated with them."

"I first went to Giovanni's back in 1979 when it was at its original location. Was the best NY Pizza I could find around the area.But over the last couple of years, it really has become mediocre. Pizza has been burnt several times (sadly I got it to go and found out it was burnt down as I traveled down the road). Sometimes toppings have been light. Inconsistent.....miss there old pizza maker who opened his own pizza place.Then there is the guy at the register when you come in to pick up food. I ordered a pizza every weekend for carry out several years straight. Every time I walk in, this guy never is friendly, never greets me w a hi, how's it going no recognition of repeat loyal business......just a BLAH attitude.Dude, Try SMILING and acting like you appreciate your customers!!!! And I think he may be owner or the head mgr!!!Made my choice easy as I always drove out my way to go to Giovanni's.....go someplace else!!!"

"Love this spot! Food is always consistently fresh, flavorful and great portion for the price. Excited that they're planning on expanding across the street from this location. One thing to know is that it's made to order so if they say it will be ready at a certain time after ordering, don't plan to pick it up until then. They do have the best 90s hip hop and R&B playing all the time so waiting around isn't so bad, especially when it's super fresh when they hand it off! Staff is always super sweet and you can tell they care."
