"The restaurant smelled bad, like old wet cloths. Although I had a reservation, I stood at a check-in desk for 9 mins, without anyone recognizing me. The waitress’s hair was all over her head. Her black shirt was untucked. She reached over my drinks twice. She demanded to know how much “tip will be applied” when I told her it was my niece’s birthday and not to bring the check to the table. While I was saying Happy Birthday to my niece and presenting her with a family archive from my great-grandmother the waitress came to the table and interrupted and demanded to know if we were ready to order. When I asked her to give us a moment she responded, “this is the second time you have said that”. The waitress failed to get my niece’s order correct—-on her birthday😢😢😢. The broccoli I ordered had about 4 pounds of sticky, wax-like cheddar cheese on them. I ordered Swiss cheese. The waitress brought out a slice of cake with a cigarette lighter to light the candle and because she was not watching her actions she stuck the lighter into the cake and neared icing on it and still decided to lite the candle and give it to my niece………My tab after all this was $90.50……., she had earlier demanded the tip amount and I had said 20%. She tipped herself $18. 10……It should have been $19 flat. I guess her math skills are as bad as EVERYTHING with this restaurant. NEVER AGAIN !!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. This restaurant has a systematic problem with dining excellence."

"Very, very satisfied with our omakase dinner recently to celebrate a graduation and birthday. We came on a Friday night with reservations for 6 people, bar seating 7:30pm, and it was quite busy. We had to wait about 20 minutes for them to finish clearing out the previous party, but they were really apologetic and sincere and offered to get us drinks before we sat down so we didn't mind. What makes this restaurant stand out from other sushi places is by and far, their service. They are attentive, professional, fun, and oh so charming. We constantly had servers collect our plates as soon as we were done with appetizers, always filling up our sake glasses whenever they were approaching empty, and our main chef, Yoshi, was absolutely ADORABLE. He was great with explaining each and every course; the pairings, the fish, and all, adding so much personality to his presentation. From what I saw, the omakase chefs each have creative freedom over their choice for appetizer offerings, while the rest of the nigiri is quite similar if not the same. I thought the offerings were really unique compared to other sushi spots; Yoshi explained some of the seasonal offerings for these rare fish which was pretty cool. This is what we got: -Housemade Agedashi Tofu: This appetizer actually blew my mind. It might just be the best tofu I've ever had. I initially didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the texture; it resembled a soft mochi rather than soft tofu that falls apart easily. It was served in a dashi/soy sauce. This was INCREDIBLE. -Japanese Snail, Firefly Squid, Ocean Trout, Needlefish w/Lotus Root, Young Peach, and Flower: I couldn't remember every little detail of this dish but it was packed with all types of flavors. Beautiful presentation as well. I especially enjoyed the texture of the giant snail and the little green peach was OUT OF THIS WORLD. It's better than any candy you can eat...and I would like a massive bowl of it. -Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab w/Tosazu Jelly: Uber crunchy, uber delicious. The plating looked so cool and the jelly added some savory soy, bonito flavors and a kick of acidity to the dish. -Japanese Red Snapper -Yellowtail Amberjack -Slathskin Snapper: I loved the bright yuzu with this fish -Golden Eye Snapper: I really enjoyed the slight sweetness in this fish -Bluefin Tuna: Amazing. It just melts away. -Fatty Tuna: Ooo that's fatty alright. -Live Shrimp: They came out jumping and dancing on the counter. Super fresh and the texture was so supple. The heads were removed and the chefs asked if we would like it fried or cooked in miso soup. We got one of each. -Fried Shrimp Head: Texture was amazing and flavor was nice -Shrimp Head in Miso Soup: I think the hot miso soup was the winner here just because cooking it in the broth allowed the flavors to be brought out, and nothing hits the spot like hot soup. It's much richer than typical miso soup that probably comes to mind. Still, if you're with multiple people, I would recommend getting both the fried head and miso soup and try both! -Wild Young Yellowtail: Texture was amazing. -Santa Barbara Uni: Melt in your mouth -Seared Otoro: Favorite nigiri BY FAR. So fatty and melty. Incredible. Hands down one of the BEST pieces of fish I've ever had. -Scallop: Light and refreshing -Blackthroat Seaperch -Dessert: We received various flavors of ice cream. Small scoops of black sesame, matcha, dulce de leche, and mascarpone to share amongst our party. My friend was given a mini cake with strawberries and ice cream to celebrate and all the staff and remaining diners all sang happy birthday! For 2 people, (with a generous tip and a lot of sake) it was around $450 for the amount of courses we got. Your omakase chef will ask you at a certain point if you feel like stopping beforehand so it's really up to you. The restaurant and parking: The restaurant itself is pretty small. There is a main bar area (which I would highly recommend if you are ordering omakase) as you can watch the chefs in action, a few tables insid"

"I am a jackson's room and really love the happy hour special and offers in noodle kitchen. we had several hit and miss experiences during the actual dinner service, but try it a go-no and then because it can be so good. we tried on the 4th juli with a big party of mixed business. from the beginning our server seemed untrained over the restaurant offer and not in the position to ask some of the ones we had and not to answer attentively to the table. we had several cocktails that were totally unbalanced (too much alcohol, too little, too sweet). During dinner all our escapes arrived at various times during a 15-minute period. it is difficult to enjoy a group dinner together when the whole party eats another time. the escape of my wife, the pork ramen, came up completely tasteless. she sends it back and was offered a substitute escape as the server mentioned that there was nothing she could do about this court. of course, it took 15 minutes. during this whole time the floor manager came several times, but without any recognition how long we waited or that the kidnapping of my wife was not possible. he seemed completely uninterested to check how we did. but the actual headache at the reception of our jack was that we were doubled for the original entree and replacement accused. after a considerable time to correct this, the restaurant has paid us for the cheaper escape. what in the world of customer care is that wait for all this? how about a comp item or a light discount or even with the slightest confirmation of the problems our table had. no gm chris continued to declare my wife tactless because she was wrong and should pay for the higher prize winner. After we were tired and paid, we even heard Christ to govern the service personnel at the bar of the entire output. incredible! we have to take a long break from noodle kitchen after this terrible experience."

"I hate to be the person who complains but our experience Friday night was awful. After being seated it took ten minutes before someone brought us water. The restaurant was about 40% full and it was another 10 minutes before our waiter appeared and took our drink order. We ordered a cheese plate appetizer that was ok. Would have been nice to know what we were eating, a server dropped it at our table with no explanation. When it was time to order we asked what the Chefs soup was (the only soup on the menu) and were told that they had run out. It was about 7:00. Who runs out of soup on a Friday night at 7:00?? Our waiter then went on and on about how good it was and how it was prepared. Why!?! We can’t have any!! As we ordered our main courses we were given a list of all the dishes they didn’t have that night which made ordering frustrating. It then took forever to get our food (about 50 minutes). When our food arrived it was clear that they were out of more ingredients than we had been told. Several substitutions had been made to our dishes making what we ordered entirely different from we expected. Instead of candied fruit in a salad they substituted steamed tomatoes. Instead of seasonal vegetables with my steak I got a pile of raw spinach. It was bizarre, cheap, and disappointing. Overall I’m not sure how they stay open. It was honestly the worst “fine dining” experience I’ve ever had and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."
