"First off I enjoyed my experience at The Licking. The only issue I had is that one of waitress promised to seat up ASAP but seated another couple before us. However, another waitress witnessed what happened and addressed the issue by making sure we were seated. If you’re looking for a fancy restaurant than this is not your place. However, the atmosphere was nice everyone in there was nice. This place is more urban and plays rap music which is ok for me. The food was delicious. I had the lemon pepper wings. They were seasoned and fried to perfection. The mac cheese was good and flavorful. The candy yams was good. The fried shrimp, fries calamari and fried broccoli was very tasty fresh. The Lemonades are the best. The mystery drink is my favorite. I definitely would visit again."
