"we had so much luck getting two sitting on a Monday night bar for dinner. eating, service and ambiente is amazing. I had the braided lamb with orzo and coy out of their special rotating menu and my man had the Pasta-Bolonasge and we shared the grilled Hiumi cheese. everything was great, but the lamb was by far the best. the bartender also gave me a great wee recommendation. I wish I had a second to eat more. reservation, especially on Monday, as this is a very popular restaurant. on Monday, many restaurants in charlottesville are closed, so orzo is one of the few sit-dinner options, so it is even more important to have reservations, as their terrace is the only option for walkins and it is not heated."

"Overpriced and overrated. We travel a lot. We rarely leave a bad review. However, sometimes a restaurant goes above and beyond to earn negative comments. Our appetizer and salads were dumped on our table before our cocktails after we specifically asked them not to do this. We asked for our main entree to be better paced . It was, however, both were over cold. Two managers came by and we nicely mentioned the issues. Next our warm (ice cold) dessert came before our after dinner drink (tea and port, which we requested first). Actually sent the dessert back and received a second ice cold (purportedly warm) dessert which was inedible."

"We ordered the charcuterie board and some wine. The food was delicious and the portions were fair for the price. The menu was varied and I can't wait to go again and try more of what they have to offer. If you go on a good weather day they have an outdoor seating area.Parking: It is difficult to find street parking on weekends but there is a parking garage very close."

"Where do I start? I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. The guy at the counter was so friendly and took the time time to explain the menu and answer our gazillion questions, all while being patient with my hungry screaming 1 year old. We ordered the Thai crab cakes for appetizer so delicious! We had the grilled Mahi Mahi with pineapple salsa and also the half chicken with the medium piri piri sauce. I can not begin to describe how moist that chicken was! And the fish was cooked perfectly! I'm watching my carbs, so I was able to sub the rice for extra veggies. They have a really good selection of veggies for sides too! After our meal, the owner or manager came by to see how we liked it! He was so very nice and knowledgeable. Also let us know about the grand opening coming up on the 26th. We will be there for sure! I'll also be back before then to take my dad to eat here. He is a cook himself, so finding a restaurant he likes to eat at can be difficult sometimes. I KNOW he'd enjoy this one!"

"1st visit impression: Efficient check in. The wait was 35 minutes with a text message, so we had time to shop at Old Navy. Location is great. Near Red #1 for the underground parking, but #5 8 are near too. Food was good except the Korean Chili sauce on the chicken. I only sampled that from my friend's plate. Tasted like spoiled dairy to me. They sent it back opted for BBQ sauce instead. It took so long to get that, she took it to go. Calamari was good. I like both the sauces presented with it. My friend felt the creme brulee should have been toasted better. Service was okay. I loved that we could pay at the table ourselves on a device that let us choose the items we were paying for (split check). I will be back with my husband. Atmosphere was nice, low lights, like a romantic sports bar kind of vibe. The bathroom was oddly dark. I made it out the parking deck in under 2 hours free, so winning!"

"This restaurant is amazing! The menu features a variety of fresh, delicious dishes, and the specials I've tried have consistently been excellent. The live music adds to the enjoyable atmosphere. It's only open during the summer season, typically from mid-April to October. Plus, they offer some incredible hot sauces!"

"I have to give this place 3 stars. For the price and the clientele, they can do a lot better. The saving grace is the atmosphere. The restaurant is lovely and the rooftop is absolutely gorgeous. That is why I give it 3 stars. However the menu is very pedestrian while being very expensive. The salad that I ordered was $16 and it was literally a saucer sized plate of sliced vegetables that tasted unwashed. You're paying $20 for very uninteresting drinks. The entree selection was uninspiring and our dishes were not well seasoned. After being seated we waited so long that we had to ask where our waiter was. After our meal was served the waiter was so MIA that I had to ask the cleaning staff TWICE for our waiter. A different waiter approached and I ordered the check. Then a 3rd waiter brought us the bill. And yet the original waiter was there as we were walking out to wave goodbye. If this place wants be considered upscale, they will have to do better."

"Thank you for exceptional dining in the mornings! I've been looking for a place that serves a variety of breakfast choices but also delivers. I've ordered from them several times and consistently the food has been cooked to my exact qualifications (even poached! My favorites: Mount Diablo Scramble and the bowls. Lots of breakfast: I had enough for breakfast as well as lunch. Homecooked flavor--lots of ingredients but balance so not one overpowers. And fast! Got my order in 20 minutes or less and once, the breakfast was still warm. This is restaurant quality cooked meals so I pay a little more. But it is worth it for a treat for myself."
