"very popular place in expensive area. on a Sunday they visited this place, so they sat me very quickly on a table. but I'm sure they have to book a table in advance on Friday and Saturday. the restaurant itself is very beautiful and in combination with excellent eating I can say that I would visit this place more than once. I would like to thank you for the great service and good food."

"Had a 4:00 pm reservation and was seated on time. There were barely any people dining inside, a couple of tables in the front area. An older gentleman came over and asked about drinks, which was water only. 10 minutes went by, still no water or anyone that came to the table. Another waiter (who I recognized from past experiences that were not the best of service), whispers a curse word “f as ” about the original server; I guess he had no choice but to take over to serve my table of 2, directed by the gentleman. I asked if everything was okay, and he proceeded to tell me yes, when clearly no. I had to ask what the specials were, as he rushed to take our order. He came back to ask if we got a rice dish when we did not. Everything came at once, except for toku fries. I asked for ketchup in advance because it is usually forgotten about, but then fries never showed up until the 3rd time asking another waiter. Toku has great dishes, however their service and quality of dining experience needs tremendous improvement and priority."

"This was a disaster. First and last time ordering from here. Serves me right to try a new sushi place without reading reviews. I got the combo 5 piece sushi with California roll (came with miso soup) and a salmon avocado roll. The only thing that was edible was the salmon avocado roll. Everything else was picked at or thrown out, even the soup was terrible. The sushi smelled so fishy and some pieces looked old. It was really the worst sushi I've had in a long time. Not worth the money AT ALL. So disappointed. All the sushi in the picture was thrown out. I wasn't given any chopsticks either. At this point I just hope I won't get food poisoning."

"Franchia is a little hidden on Park Avenue in a quieter part of town. It is also away from a saturated restaurant area. The Asian fusion restaurant offers vegan cuisine and is known for its many tea options. Reservations can be made via phone. They have three levels of seating. The first is more casual and generally seating for two. Head up the stairs for level two, which is better for groups. Finally the top floor is more intimate and private. The third floor is good for date night. There is no elevator so keep that in mind if stairs are an issue. Servers are fast with orders and trying to keep the candles lit on your table. (lol ours went out a few times) Lighting can be a bit dim to read menus. We got the vegan assortment of dumplings. This is a great way to try them all. I think the kale ones were my fav but otherwise the rest were okay. The curry hot pot was our main dish. It comes out sizzling on a stone hot plate and with a small side of rice. The presentation was cool, but didn't really care for the flavor. Meh. I'd probably try something different next time. Finally, the soy cheesecake was good. Creamy and not overly sweet. The pot of tea (got it last time I was there) is the best thing on the menu. Overall an okay vegan spot. Check out their sister restaurant Hangawai, which isn't too far away. All vegan Korean BBQ (mostly hot rice stone bowls)."

"Where to start, First I understand supporting a local business, but there are limits to it. Bad Food should be call out on. I'm about 5 to 6 mins away from the restaurant. So you think the food would be delivered hot and warm. Not lukewarm and ice cold. The quility doesnt match the prices at all you get better quality at panda then here. The sauce they used taste like cheap store bought ones, their breading to meat ratio needs work. I hate to leave bad reviews but Golden Teriyaki cook need to learn the bases. Give the meat more time to marinade. Specify their BBQ pork need at less a 24hr marinade time at best for good favor. The sauces taste store bought and leaves a better taste. To fix this look up recipes for sauces China is rich in culinary favors with each region have a unique characteristics to them. Spend so time learning about it. On keeping the food warm is easy and needs no explanation. From what I taste this place is garbage. I just do not understand if it was a bad day or normal. Pullman have a wonderful food scene so I do not understand the reviews for a place like this."

"First time here.My husband and son said it was not good when it first opened. But when I saw a few Asian customers, I thought after a year they might have changed chefs. So I decided to try salmon Nigri and hamachi Nigri and a California roll. Due to my limited time I can stay with my party, I decided to order take out. The server was nice, but didn't ask if our party of 10+ was one check or separate, so she put all of us on one bill...caused a huge issue. The server is not very familiar with the sushi menu. I got my order and the Salmon was warm, not even cool to the touch. I did not receive hamachi, but got Saba ?...very disappointed.I immediately took my biox4 pills to make sure I wouldn't get food poisoning. The biox4 has saved me three times from food poisoning.I'm not sure if I want to come back to try their cooked food. My husband told me, it's more Korean food, not Japanese food based on their menu selections."

"Excellent quality in every stage of preparation and serving. Highest respect for freshness in all its raw fish sources and meat and vegetables. Really one of the most delicious meals can be found in every Japanese restaurant in the Bay Area. I've been here for 30 years, and it's still a great experience."

"The server was knowledgeable and always had a smile on her face. We ordered shrimp and tempura dinner that came with rice, salad and Miso soup. It was too oily for me, but the cripple was great and quite a lot of vegetables. Chicken catsu was brilliant and also came with salad and soup. Much of it. We ordered spicy tuna reel (my little favorite), King Kong watch had a good crunch and favorite was Pei's, which had meerrot Hischi and a perfect blend of sweetness from the mango and heat from the Jalapeno. Yum!"

"I think Med Deli is really overrated. The falafel is truly terrible always overdone on the outside and underdone on the inside. It's dry and overly dense and really just some of the worst falafel I've ever had (and that's saying something). Thetahini sauce is thin and watery and barely tastes of sesame. The hummus has a weird airy/frothy texture, like they put bakingsoda in it or something. I don't find the veggies all that fresh, especially the tomatoes and cucumbers, which tend to be soft probably because they are drowning in a bath of dressing/juices (see photo). Recently I tried the carrot salad, which wasrecommended by a friend, and the curried orzo salad. I really did not like either of them. They both had a weird tangy tastethat reminded me of Miracle Whip or something especially the carrot salad. The last several times I've eaten here I've endedup throwing most of my meal away. I really want to like this local favorite, and I hear the owners are lovely, but I just don'tthink the food is good. Maybe it's better for meat eaters."

"I am normally not one to write a review on anything but this is by far the best sushi around Baltimore. Ive tried them all big and small. The thai food is excellent and always fresh. I have had same dishes prepared slightly differently but they have multiple chefs so that is to be expected. Tip: get to know the sushi chefs and they will give you an 'off menu ' experience. Overall excellent place."

"I’ve been here once before and the service and impression left on me and my party was not great but I have to give them their due for our last time there. First of all I would not have come back after the first time if it weren’t for a friend who wanted a roof top night out in W.C., but I’m glad they did because our server Dylan was great and the food and drinks matched. Fun time with great service and great food! Definitely would recommend if you are looking for a fun atmosphere and a good time."

"Generally good food and service. Food is presented in a fancy way. Liked the tofu Tikka masala, but the rice portion that comes with it is small, so make sure you have something to eat with it. Keep in mind a good portion of the meals contain alcohol if you do not drink."

"Healthy food, well prepared, generous portions, comfortable atmosphere and great service. Casual but very nice. Gluten free options and gluten free corn muffins to start made me very happy."
