"After a difficult day of medical tests, my wife and I both decided we deserved a drink and an appetizer. We walked to the corner, not knowing the neighborhood at all and started looking around when we realized we were right in front of a pub called The Pony Bar. The vibe was perfect-a real old time New York bar. The service terrific, the food we had, mostly bar appetizers was delicious. We came as strangers but left as friends. We look forward to going back there soon."
