"Pretty Good. I had one roommate say it's fantastic, and one say it's horrible, so I had to try for myself. I went just before the dinner rush. It was starting to fill up, and I was seated immediately. First out was chips and salsa. They bring hot and mild. The mild is pretty bland, so I mixed a small amount of hot to make it the right temperature. I wasn't sure what to try as the menu has a lot to choose from. I opted for the large combination plate. It came with 2 beef tacos, a tamale, a bean and cheese tostada, and a cheese enchilada. I thought the tamale was very good. The pork was tender and the cornmeal not overpowering. They topped it with a chili bean sauce and, although tasty, I would leave it off. The taste of the tamale speaks for itself and doesn't need complicating. I'll give them props for not using store bought hard taco shells. They use actual corn tortillas fried crispy. They only had beef and lettuce in them, but I thought they were unique and tasty. The cheese enchilada was a little too overpowering with the cheese, so next time I would skip it. After digging through a large pile of lettuce (why do restaurants do that? I located the tostada, which I thought was fine, but nothing to write home about. Overall, I'd say it was a lot of food for the money, the service was prompt and friendly, and I would probably return. The only thing I might suggest to them is to maybe add some cheese or tomatoes to the tacos and enchiladas."
