"My recent dining experience at Lindo Michoacán was far from what I had expected, especially given its reputation and my previous experience. I ordered the Number Fifteen, which includes a red chili burrito and a taco. Two others at my table also ordered this dish, so we were all eager to enjoy what should have been a hearty, flavorful meal. However, the moment I took a bite of the red chili burrito, I knew something was off. The taste was so unusual that I immediately wondered if there was something wrong with the food—it had a strange, chemical-like flavor that left me genuinely concerned. I wasn’t the only one who noticed this; the others who ordered the same dish shared my sentiments. We quickly flagged down our server and expressed our concerns. Shortly after, the manager came to our table to address the issue. We politely asked him to taste the burrito himself, hoping to confirm what we were experiencing. When he returned, he admitted that the meat used in the burrito was bad. While I appreciate the honesty of the manager, the fact that spoiled meat was served in the first place is unacceptable. However, this still doesn't explain the chemical taste. It did not taste like spoiled meat. It raises serious questions about the kitchen’s quality control and food safety standards. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. I hope that the restaurant takes immediate steps to ensure this doesn’t happen to other patrons, but I can’t see myself returning anytime soon."
