"El Bolero is a perfect spot for a festive cocktail and meal. We met for dinner before a concert downtown. The drinks are outstanding, finally had the famous Oilman Margarita . Its beautiful and it doesn 't disappoint. I love the queso here- it 's my favorite in Dallas, and the chips are crisp and lightly seasoned. The food is delicious- I had the vegetarian enchiladas, my friends had the burrito, barbacoa tacos and soup. The side of fried okra was delicious. Dessert was a treat- we shared 3 options. Our favorite was the caramel filled churros, followed by the fried ice cream and then the Dulce de Leche Neopolitan. The waitstaff are nice and the dinner was fun and relaxing. They are not pushing you out, and the service is a little slow. Go with time to relax and unwind!"

"if I were past the drinks, this restaurant would get 5 stars. their margaritas are on the spot for the price. the atmosphere feels calm (I arrived on Tuesday). it is directly over the bridge of manhattan, so the trip is short when they come from the work in the city. eating is really good, they can adapt it if they have food restrictions. it only seems to be a bathroom for all the sexes and the tables are quite small for large groups. definitely worth a visit on a Friday night after work."

"Honestly, time has passed but this restaurant still has a special touch when it comes to flavors. It always has a true Mexican vibe with its decorations, colors, and music that immerse you in a pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend trying the tacos, especially the ones made with handmade tortillas, they are the best. Also, the salmon al pepian dish is super tasty."

I swear, they have old secrets that eat her and give her extra zing. every time I go here, I go with great feelings and great expectations of the next visit. the seasonal choice is a point and the proportions are sufficient. the service here is exceptional the server and waiting staff are helpful without floating. the atmosphere is festive without being intrusive. this is a place for the family, or a first date. they have everything clean, including the toilets. prices are moderate and affordable. they have something delicious for every budget. "Very poor service and horrible management. Customer service was disappointing. We never received water and our order took over an hour to arrive that was only after we addressed it with the manager Joaquin who instead of apologizing, questioned if we even placed an order to begin with. Very rude and condescending. I never leave reviews good or bad, but he really made our party feel uncomfortable and upset. When I mentioned to him how disappointed I was in the customer service, he went on to state that there are people dying in a war. I don’t understand how that has anything to do with the poor customer service. That was the tipping point for our party. We were looking forward to staying for the DJ party after dinner but no longer wanted to stay and never want to go back."

"El Matador really went to the plate with her outdoor food since COVID started. From the front it can look like they are closed, but they have a fantastic outdoor seat under a large illuminated tent on a terrace in the back of the restaurant. The entrance to this terrace is at the side of the building, but has a great sign to let you know that it is there. As always the food and service was excellent, and cheap to boot. One thing to note is the restaurant is BYOB so bring a drink and enjoy the delicious dishes and outdoor seating."

"Good food and very attentive service. We were there with a larger party and they took good care of us. The food is good and is closer to Tex-Mex than most, but it's still not quite the real thing. Chips were thick and crispy and the Queso Fundido was good. We ordered a pretty wide spread of dishes and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The prices were reasonable as well. Good place for a casual get-together."

Both Kat and I enjoyed the service provider by our waitress, Tiffany R. She was incredibly helpful, pleasant and greatly attentive to our requests. She definitely earned our highest respect and praise. Both Kat I highly recommend for other patrons to visit the Heartland Brewery. An extra bonus that comes with visiting this establishment is that it is located within the Empire State Building, giving visitors the opportunity to view one of New York City's most iconic skyscrapers."

"We were here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Only a few tables were seated, we requested outside seating which they have on the sidewalk picnic tables and also smaller tables on the sidewalk. In the photos shrimp quesadillas. Which were pretty good. We ordered chips and guacamole which came out after our food. We had strawberry lemonade which was incredibly delicious tasted like they made it homemade with fresh strawberries not too sweet. Lots to pic from and surprisingly a large vegan section."
