"The atmosphere of the restaurant is simple and family-friendly, typical of a small-town establishment. The place appeared clean and vibrant, and we received excellent service. While most of the dishes looked appealing, I (and my..."

"The chips and hot sauce are excellent and that tells you right there this place is the jam!!! We love the Birria tacos, enchiladas with verde or mole, nachos, the flan, and the tres leches!!!! This is by far the best Mexican food in all of Westchester. They only have about three tables available indoor, as they do a lot of takeout, and they do not serve liquor or beer. Don’t let that lead you astray. Get yourself a cold Coca-Cola and enjoy!!!!"

"We are visiting from out of state and wanted to eat local. The food was delicious and staff were excellent. The restaurant was very nice. The bathroom was in a little disrepair (sink falling off the wall) and a little messy, which surprised me since the rest of the restaurant was very nice. Would definitely eat there again though."

"we have a reservation for 12 in advance. the service was bad and we felt that they didn't want our business from the moment we arrived. we waited for an eternality to place our order and had to demand refills for our limonade. the restaurant was not busy, it was a week night. I would have waited a long time. eating was the only redeeming part of the experience! after we got our food. we have never seen our server again."

"We've passed this place several times but never stopped. This chips and salsa was decent. The salsa was not too spicy and the chips were warm. We ordered the steak fajitas for two and a childs taco with beans and rice. The steak fajita was ok. The meat was cut into small strips and some of them were a little tough and chewy. There were lot of peppers, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. It came with a 2 plates of your average rice and beans. Nothing special. It came with 6 flour tortillas. We ordered the child's taco with beans and rice but ordered it as a soft taco. It was great with a lot of ground meat. Our only grip was that they charged and extra .50 for the flour tortilla without telling us it was going to be extra. I wouldn't have had a problem if they told me but the fact I found out when I got the bill perturbed me. Overall this is an average Mexican restaurant. Food was decent and the service was decent. I did not partake in the alcohol so I can not comment on that but a decent place."

"We had lunch here and it was very tasty we opted for a combination plate which was more than enough food for each of us. We noticed they also had a buffet on Sunday which looked delicious there were a dozen different dishes to choose from as well as a taco bar. We will definitely return"

"Our new weekly date night restaurant! Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in the 417 area! Chile Rellenos are the best I've ever had and so were the Soppapillas with ice cream! Even their chips and Salsa are the best Oh, and the Spanish Rice, never tasted Spanish rice so good!! Atmosphere is great, the presentation of the food is presented like art and the staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Our bill came to $28 for two drinks, two dinners and dessert. I left the server well above 20%. It was well deserved!"

"Cocula Mexican Restaurant has very recently changed ownership. It is now Mariscos Nayarit. My family made plans to meet at Cocula last Saturday night. We were shocked to see that the name has changed. The menu is entirely different and the prices are higher. The menu was not the conventional Mexican we are accustomed to. LOTS of weird seafood dishes. The service was terrible. We were seated without menus. Someone in our party went to the hostess station (which was unattended) and got some menus. The server brought chips and thin watery salsa before taking our drink orders. We didn't even have napkins or eating utensils yet. Some of our orders were not correct. Even though there is a bar, I don't think it is in operation no draught beef or mixed drinks. We asked for glasses for our beer but never received them. Despite all the cons, everyone thought their food tasted good.Cocula was our favorite Mexican restaurant and we are disappointed to see it closed. If it couldn't stay in business, I don't see how Mariscos has much chance of succeeding."

"Los Amigos Don Juan is situated right off the highway and is part of a complex that includes several restaurants and big office buildings. I placed an order online, so I was able to enjoy their delicious food without having to wait."

"I chose this restaurant because it was the only one open, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Even during late dinner hours, it was bustling with customers, which told me the food would be great—and it was! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our meals were prepared and served quickly, and they arrived hot. The portions were generous, so we were able to take home enough for a full meal the next evening. The parking was easy, and the place was very clean. The prices were fair and reasonable. We will definitely return when we're in the area!"
