"My husband and I recently came across Pepe's Mexican restaurant. We've had dinner twice on Friday evenings. The place was clean, the servers were friendly and offered suggestions on meals and drinks. The wait time is reasonable and prices are fair for the portion sizes. I will say if you are used to delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, stay away from the Americanized yellow cheesy meals and cheap tequila for your margaritas. (If it's dripping with yellow cheese, it's not real Mexican food. We liked their chicken mole and tostadas. We don't care for very sweet margaritas but their strawberries were fresh in the margarita with Patron tequila. We didn't like the Oaxacan (Mayan tamales, they were too dry for us but others may like them just fine. We would stop in again and try out other dishes and drinks. They have happy hour on Thursdays with discounted drinks."
