"We had a reservation for two and were seating in the hall right by the bathroom. There were other tables available in the dining room. Not sure why we were put in that location. You can imagine the traffic by our table; not to mention, having to eat by the bathroom. We both ordered the Reuben sandwich. The bread was over toasted; it was very dry and burnt in spots. When you took a bite, it was very crunchy. The dressing was placed on less than 1/2 of one slice of bread. The worst Reuben I've ever had. The waitress only came to us four times in the hour we were there. We have been there in the past; a few years ago and it was good. We wondered why it wasn't busy on a Saturday night. We will definitely not go back."

"This is the best German restaurant that I have come to since I returned from Germany in 2008. There used to be one in Hampton streets, but it is closed and their food was not very authentic. The beer garden was a very attractive restaurant in a very beautiful section of High Street in Portsmouth. Madison was our waitress and the food was delicious and service excellent. I highly recommend it."
