"Eaten here multiple times and always satisfied. From Baby Back Ribs, to Calf Liver, Cat Fish, and desserts , all good!! Daily specials are always interesting. Never k ow what they'll be featuring, yet tempted to try. Looks small when you first walk in, but walk towards rear and dinning room opens up. The waitresses are very attentive and accommodating. The chefs interact with guests about the food (its presentation and taste). Two kitchens ensure fast service. The kitchen and the bathroom are pretty clean. Very cozy lil spot! I'm sure to be there, again. Update: Went there again!!! Got Pescada Frito (Fried Fish) and Cheese Cake. It was goood!!"

"What a terrific restaurant to eat at. If google maps had a golden buzzer button I’d push it for Bonnie C’s!!! This is the type of establishment I drive hours to find. 1. Atmosphere and culture here are a delight. 2. Our server Brittany’s description of the dishes were spot on. 3. The service was very very good! 4. Most importantly the food. I had a cup of gumbo, with seafood stuffed chicken topped with a crawfish gravy, It was divine. Also the gumbo was terrific."

"The first time to eat here for lunch on a perfect day. All employees were super friendly and our server was so attentive and helpful. She was perfect as she knew when she was over and checked us and how to make sure everything was just right for our satisfaction. My wife and I had filled the crab mushrooms with Cajun sauce as an appetizer and roared flounder as an entree. I have never had such an ingenious appetizer as the filled mushrooms; I could have eaten for lunch! The flounder was fresh as if he was caught that morning, and the wort and the rupture was something nobody can compete with. I had a cup of gumbo. Our server said it was the next thing she ever had to her grandmothers and believe me it tasted like a grandmother made it with love! It was in such a light red Roux and just seasoned with enough spicy heat that I had it in competition with one of the rubber sticks I had in New Orleans. My wife had a frozen strawberry Margarita, which was one of the best we've ever tried. It was sweet from sweet strawberries and had no artificial taste. They blended it perfectly with super fine ice beads and I had a perfect old fashioned mixed perfectly. I think five stars are too few for this place!"

"I had a bigger party for dinner, drinks and cakes and I was SO IMPRESSED. Our server was amazing, she held it cool was super nice, accommodating and on the ball. People ordered at different times and they didn't miss a beat. The food was great, the atmosphere was even better. The band that was played was phenomenal. Overall, I think this place is the perfect place for dinner and entertainment in Northville hands down."

"We had a reservation for four people, but when we arrived and ordered drinks, it took 20 minutes for them to arrive. The appetizers came out in a timely manner, but they were just okay. Unfortunately, our waiter was not attentive and did not clear our table properly. After waiting over an hour for our entrees and having to go to the bar to order another round of drinks, we decided to cancel our order and leave. The restaurant was not busy, which made the experience even more disappointing. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and to make matters worse, no apology was given."

"Started with a party of 7, waiting time was no more than 15 minutes. Our waitress was of, she has her best work several tables. Great worker, she visited all our needs. This place has some of the best oysters I've ever had. I love buffalo style foods and their buffalo style oysters were amazing, MUST order. You also have very good roasted pimples. I also enjoyed their Shrimp Tacos. For dessert I had the key lime cake when you are someone who loves key lime cake, don't order it, it's okay, but I won't order it again. Definitely, however, will return to this place. I also want to add that the staff there are some good honest people. I left my earplugs there when I called the next day, they said they had them and put them on the side for me to pick up later. Thank you, Felix is for your great service."

"they were here at least 3 times in the last month. I always had a good experience. I came for the first time about cancer because I was told about a louisiana native, they were legitimized here. it is not the most beautiful place to come, but I did not come for the decor. I like the Louisiana theme. purple haze (beer) is good. they have fritted frog legs covered with hot sauce, and yes they lubricated like hot wings. now with cancer, 6.50 a lb, but they must order at least 2. they do not come with the potato, maize or sausages that are extra. These sides are well cooked and good, but they taste as if they were cooked separately, which makes sense as they have to order them seperate. I love that they are ready to go inside and outside with paper towels. if you need something, order them from the bar and the staff is quite cold. parking is strange. that is a dirt and rocks and small, so they park parallel along the road. intentionally take off because some of these drivers do not care."

"I tried a Po boy for the very first time and it was so delicious. The sauce La Bayou makes to go with the sandwich was so tasty I used it on my sandwich and as a dipping sauce for my fries. The breading and seasoning on the shrimp was just right. The only let down was the balcony was closed."

"Stumbled on this place looking for lunch. I was initially worried since they were much slower than some of the other restaurants in the area but we were pleasantly surprised. The waitress (Jennifer) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made wonderful suggestions, almost knowing what we were looking for. The food was spectacular. We ordered 4 different appetizers within our group. All was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. The prices were very reasonable, in fact, less than I expected. Will definitely be back next time we're in New Orleans!"
