"that was my first time, and I would definitely be back. there was so much I wanted to try. I had the garnels with the gumbs. umm good. there was a jazz band that played so that the atmosphere was a really good mood. the only thing I didn't like was that I had to go to the counter and give up my order and pay at this time, but if I wanted an alcoholic drink, I had to wait for the waitress to come to my table and got my order that was a separate sack. So my food came before I could get my drink."

"Good experience for me..... Had gumbo.... Loaded mashed potato..... Shrimp and grits. It was soul food like I like it.... Flavorful.... Full-bodied..... Real ingredients..... None of that light fluffy stuff… Dining room clean and quaint.... All that was missing was alcoholic beverage..... They gave up license during pandemic..... "The staff at this restaurant is always helpful, even when they are busy. I traveled from the north to purchase their famous rubber chicken dish, and it did not disappoint. Additionally, if you order it in a half portion, they can accompany it with some of their other specialties."
