After being seated most of my skepticism was deceased due to super duper friendly service. Then I ate my first piece of sushi and immediately felt all of the absolute wonderful emotions that we get while savoring a beautiful/fresh/tender piece of fatty salmon. Anyone local or not looking for some sensational sushi and phenomenal service you’ve stumbled across the right place. In my somewhat diverse experience nationwide with sushi. "Food is excellent. Fish are fresh. Portions are generous. The BBQ squid is a must try. The only negative point I have is their ordering process. Instead of having a paper with all the items listed so we can check off and write how many we want, the waitress stood there and write down what we want very prone to human error. But that's not going to stop me from going back though. First all you can eat sushi restaurant of this caliber in DE, let's keep it open.2023 07 02 Update: Overall, we still enjoyed our dinner but we were disappointed on a couple things 1) although understandably, they put a limit, still a generous limit, on the number of pieces of sashimi you can order before they start charing a .50 per piece fee. 2) the quality of fish was not good at all. They were subpar. The scallops had no taste, tasted like frozen. I hope it's just this one time and not a change of their business model. We'll probably go back but if fish quality is still bad, then probably not."

"I am giving this restaurant two stars because the sushi was really good, but the overall experience was disappointing. Despite the good sushi, the service was subpar. We were the only customers when we arrived, but four other people came in 30 minutes later and received their food before us. When we inquired about our order, we were given conflicting excuses ranging from losing our order to not even putting it in. The manager apologized, but no one gave a clear explanation for the mistake. Despite the delicious sushi, the disorganized service makes me hesitant to return in the future."

"After having eaten here with my family, I would never eat or recommend this restaurant to everyone again. The server we had was extremely rude. My daughter ordered quite clearly fried rice and the person brought her fried rice and said that is what she actually ordered. She never once asked us if our meal is good or even refills our waterglass. The worst part was that she ran out of the restaurant and actually chased us into our car and screamed that she demanded a big top. It was incredible and unacceptable. If the owner does not get a grip on his employees and quality of food, he will actually lose more valued customers."

"WORST service ever in my life! I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. I complained about the food with the woman who was serving, because was very spicy, I didn’t order spicy, I can’t eat spicy! besides, chicken was so slobbery and thin. And so small portions… She changed the plate but still was very spicy and she was refusing me like if she was the one tasting the food and not her costumer. Of course I didn’t eat the food but she still charged. It was very rude and complete opposite about costumer service, (The pilar of a restaurant) she even didn’t apologize, when I talked to her respectfully, to take out that plate of the bill, and because we weren’t satisfied with the service, she just didn’t care at all and she said directly to our faces, she doesn’t care. She doesn’t know at all how to treat humans, I have been working for costumer service and and experienced this had me shocked! Never ever going back there. No good food, worst service in Connecticut!"

"A true gem of Arlington. We've lived in the Atown for 12 years and Mr Sushi has been our go-to... our rock for the entire time. The straight-ahead, unpretentious Japanese menu never fails to satisfy. I write this very review as I am polishing off some salmon, shrimp, and unagi nigiri with some oshitashi (spinach), edamame, and shumai on the side. Delicious! When you order togo they are always polite and friendly on the phone. They get your order right and they pack it up really nicely. When you go into the restaurant the servers are friendly and efficient. They get to you quickly and the food usually comes quickly. One thing I really like is the ambience... the lighting is subdued but not dim and they play really good jazz... not smooth, adult contemporary, mind you... but quality stuff that compliments the menu beautifully. Obviously, I am a big fan of Mr Sushi... which, despite its sort of laughable name, is a very solid, tasty, cozy, friendly place to eat. 5 stars"

"I've blown away how amazing this place was. Sushi was delicious. I had the Pacific roll, which was a delicious step for a role (Mango, Pineapple, Jalapeno and Fish!? I had the king's lobster roll, including mummy. And the dynamics rolling that was filled, the so big piece of Unagi had it me at the first bite. We appeared unexpectedly with a very large group and I am very impressed by how efficient and friendly the staff helped us. Try the love boats! Try the reels! Try the Hibachi!"

"The food was very good but the wait time was ridiculous! When we arrived they told my husband and I that our family of 5 would be waiting 30 minutes. 30 minutes turned into over an hour. The waiting area was extremely over crowded and the bar area was empty so they could have invited waiting guest to have a seat at the bar while waiting for table seating. It took them the last 15 minutes of our wait to finally offer seats at the bar. They need better customer service to match the food."

"Mediocre at best. I ordered delivery from here. Food portions are big, but flavor was lacking. I ordered the agedashi tofu, and they put spicy sauce on it. Never have I ever had agedashi tofu with spicy sauce on it, not even in Japan! That took me by surprise, and not a good one either. Their salad dressing was very salty, kids bento box with tonkatsu pork had a big portion. But flavor was not there. I didn't like the curry sauce, and I ended up using the agedashi tofu sauce to dip the pork in for me meal. Overall, mediocre food with high price tag, I won't be rushing back any time soon."
