"I recently had the best pizza I've had in a long time at Sals in Manhattan. The marinara sauce was delicious and expertly made, making it stand out from the other Italian/pizza joints in the area. Despite the slightly small portion size for the price, this seems to be a common issue in many restaurants nowadays. The side of sauce was tiny, but I'll remember to ask for more next time. The thin, flavorful meatball slices were to my liking, as I prefer them on the dry side rather than greasy and gristly. The cheese on the pizza was a pleasant surprise, tasting fresh and flavorful instead of the typical bland, rubbery cheese found on most pizzas. Overall, I highly recommend Sals for a truly delicious pizza experience."
