"I have never eaten there but it smells so good as I walk by. The valet are very nice and pleasant to talk to as you're walking by. The places awesomely decorated. This place could be thought as a hole in the wall but this could be the magic when you want to just arrive and dine and meet your company. I hear the food is delectable. And the service and atmosphere is well worth it you would never expect it in a place like here.. well worth it so I hear as I walk by and as I see. I can't afford a tomahawk steak. But knowing that they have one and know how to do it. That says a lot. It's been here for more than many years. That stability constant."

"Reservation was at 1:15, didnt get seated until 2. Didnt have any interaction with wait staff for at least 10 minutes. No water, no greeting. Informed of allergy, ordered food without sauce that had allergen. Received food with specified allergy around 50 minutes after waiting for food. Waited an additional 15-20 minutes for the food to be remade. This was an anniversary brunch. I didnt get to eat with my wife. And we had another engagement at 3:45, therefore I rushed to eat the food. Was highly disappointed, though I come from the service industry and understand mistakes happen. Unfortunately this experience was not worth the wait, or the price. Furthermore, I was excited to experience the ambience, only to learn we were unable to get a table inside. Again, it was disappointing."

"Disappointing! I’ve been coming to Vegas for 15 years and enjoyed many wonderful celebrity chef dining experiences. Happy to pay for service, ambience and flavor. I felt regret as I signed my bill. Service was 4 out of 5. As soon as we sat down, we received excellent attention by 2 waitstaff working in tandem. It would’ve been a 5 out of 5 if drink service had been more prompt. We ordered a second round of drinks as the entrées were delivered and these drinks showed up after we had completed our meals. Decor is modern and swanky but slightly nondescript. Wait staff dressed in chic black. I felt slightly uncomfortable for the young women wearing short skirts that did not fit properly. I’m all for beautiful women wearing beautiful clothes but these women were wearing clothes that were too small for them in my opinion because there was lots of fidgeting to ensure skirts did not ride up further while walking thru the dining area or making cocktails. Instead of giving off an effortless sexy vibe, it felt awkward and made me feel uncomfortable for them. The pork belly appetizer was the best item of the evening. Apple salad and Bibb lettuce salad both felt below average in taste and presentation. American Wagyu filets we’re ordered by all and steaks were cooked to the correct doneness. Carrots were disappointing and hard to chew. The flavor of the steak and all the sauces that we tried were below average. In the last 18 months I’ve been to Gaucho Parilla Argentina in Pittsburgh, KanePrime in Nashville, Gibson in Chicago, and St Elmo’s in Indianapolis so I have some spoiled tastebuds. Cut by Wolfgang Puck is not even in the same class. For excellent Steak in Vegas my go to is the Golden Steer. But in my opinion, the best food scene is Nashville."

"I like Ellie's. I want to like it more, but I still haven't had that great experience consistently.Service is on the slow side consistently. Specifically, it is about 10 minutes before a server comes over once seated. And once we place our order, our server rarely comes back. A server's assistant will bring the food, but the server never comes back to check how things are going or even to bring the check. (This has happened 4 out of the 5 times I've dined there).I have had tasty dishes, but often the food isn't hot and today my pasta was a little under cooked. The food temperature could be part of the slow service. I usually send it back, but today I just ate it.I like to support local businesses so I'll be back. I just want a great, not just good, overall experience and I'll update this reviewVegetarian options: This comment is more about non meat options for my wife who is pescatarian. Would like to see more options."

"Food quality was good. Menu is somewhat limited. There was only 1 steak listed, a 32 ounce beast. I asked and the waiter said they could do a 'Room Service ' steak, which is 8 oz. why not just have that on the menu? We were there mid-week, Spring Break. The place looked empty when we arrived about 7:00. It did seem to fill up, later. Service was OK, but very slow. Understaffed? This restaurant has potential. There is a Kitchen Bar in Austin that is fantastic. This has a ways to go."

"I visited this new restaurant in November 2018 and was impressed that they had worked out any initial issues. The food, particularly the salmon dish, was a delightful blend of flavors, textures, and fresh ingredients. I appreciated finding a neighborhood spot that was not pretentious, had reasonable prices, and offered excellent service. I enjoyed my dinner so much that I considered coming back the next day for their brunch or lunch options."
